When down, or depressed I do my best to find something no matter how small to be positive about. This doesn't always work. I have found that if I can find even one thing to be happy about, it will lead to finding other things to get happy about. No this is not a cure for my depression, but without insurance or a doctor it is my way of handling the really bad days.
Today's happy thing is the fact that while we don't have much, there was a time just over a year ago that we were homeless. I comfort myself knowing that the kids have a roof over their heads and food to eat. Yes life is difficult but when you look back It is not as bad as it has been before.
Life has shown me so many new things, yet has brought about the past. I am learning daily how to balance life, emotions, love, and the crazy lessons I feel I need to know versus the ones I must know.
