ok so I don't normally complain in my journal I try and keep it uplifting and positive but today takes the fucking cake. So I went and enrolled my kids in school today.public thats why it hurts so much cause if it was private then it would be more acceptible I would have known there would be those kind of costs. its 96 dollars per kid just for book fees. doesnt sound like a lot but when you live paycheck to paycheck and they say if you make over 18,000 a year theres no discount well damn. they dont take into consideration what comes out of those damn checks. yes im ranting because hubby and I are busting our asses just to keep a roof over our childrens heads and now this shit. I could understand if it was a deposit or you got to keep the damn books but you dont and its not. its just money absorbed into the school. fucking uggggggggggggg that doesnt include any meals or school supplies and the lists have gotten so long. we shelled out over 40 dollars on school supplies alone and still havent gotten everything. cant afford new clothes yet and the kids have outgrown everything. it keeps getting higher and higher every year and I know I am not the only parent feeling this way.

If you need help tell the school they help out people who are below the poverty line. They provide the kids with school supplies and sometimes help out with school clothes

yeah I did tell the school and they say we make too much to qualify for help even though after taxes and bills are paid there is next to nothing left. Thank you for the advice.
