I remember that night as if it was yesterday. I was walking down the same road I did every night, looking for some poor and unlucky soul that I could quench my thirst on. Being a vampire has its down sides not everything is as easy as it seams. Let me tell you about us. The real us.
We are strong yes but not that much stronger then the average male. We need to feed as well but not on blood like you always thought. We’re psychic vampires, not undead vampires.
I had passed many cars that night and none of them stopped to ask if I needed a ride, or even stopped to ask if I was alright, or lost. I came to the end of the road and took a left as usual. But this time something was different. There was a girl standing there. I don’t mean walking I mean standing there. So I kept walking, as a walked passed her she asked me my name.
“My name is Shawn. And yours is?” I asked
“It’s Gabrielle.” She explained
“That’s a pretty name. You’re not from around here are you?”
“No, Im not. I just moved into the house on the corner. And I don’t have any friends.” She said as she looked down at her feet. She was a nice looking young female. Maybe seventeen or so.
“Would you like to go for a walk with me?” I asked her as I thought to myself this is my lucky day.
“I would like that very much thank you.” She said as she started to follow me
As we walked we talked about everything.
“Were did you move from?” I asked as nicely as I could
“Romania.” She answered with a slight smile
“Oh really, vampire country ay?” I joked; I then did something that I never did before. I reached down and took her hand in mine. She didn’t stop me. When we got to her new house I said good bye and she bent to and kissed my neck it felt like she left me a really nice mark.
“Will I see you again?” she asked as she unlocked the front door.
“If you wish it, then yes you will?” I replied as a gently kissed her lips
“I do .” She said in between my lips. “Good bye until tomorrow.”
“Goodnight Gabrielle.”
“Night Shawn.” And with that she shut the door.
