The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

This story was a combined effort between my darling bloodywrist and I. I hope you enjoy.







a jet black youth sat in the graveyard for while a long time watching the sun setting

there wasn't much to look at

a few trees here and there but for the most part there were graves everywhere

this little place on this little hill



it was a nice little place especially in the spring

the trees around the place bloomed with hundred of pretty blue flowers

but it was fall now the trees didn't have any flowers on them anymore

Already the chill of winter was setting in

the place seemed gloomy

the gothic looking boy looked at the sky for a moment grey clouds were coming in

it would probably snow soon

but he would be gone by then



he had been on the run from a vampire

one that was feared by all

called shawdowmistress

her real name was Linda

she had been after him for ages now and he was tired of running from her wondering when she would kill him and takes his powers



suddenly the boy heard footsteps in the distance and turned to see who it was



"who's there?"





Lady Shadow stayed hidden as she preyed upon the boy. he looked cold....she had this tingly feeling inside that told her that she felt like making him warm....but how could she....being so cold-blooded herself.....her skin was naturally cold to the touch...it couldnt do anything to help him.



the thought of warmth crossed her mind again but this time it was the warmth of his blood that ran over and over in her head. yet she couldnt help this other warm feeling inside her. she had been after this boy for years and now it seemed as if she was attracted to him in this morbid and bloody way.



she wanted to tackle him on the ground and hurt him and drain him dry...yet at the same time she saw herself tackling him to the ground and kissing him and fulfilling her lustful cravings for the evening...



'who's there' he asked....should she show herself? this part of her wants to....she is faster than he is, and could catch him this time if she really wanted to...but did she want to? or was it the chase she loved?



he looked scared, and it excited her, so she stepped out from behind the tree in which she was hiding....and flashed a seductively evil smile at him as she revealed her fangs....





"hello raven"

she smiled at him sending chills down his back



raven stepped back and formed an energy ball in his hand ready to strike if nesscessary



"what's wrong? didn't you miss me?"

she giggled as she walked toward him



"i've missed you, the smell of your blood and your fear

there's just something about you that sends me over the edge"



ravens thoughts raced as he wondered if he would make it out of this alive or not



she began to walk toward him when a sudden explosion stopped her



"i don't think so, that mortal is mine so back off "



it was his ex girlfriend that had been turned into a demon



his day just got worse, now two people were after him





Shadow looked at the demon that interrupted and flashed her an evil threatening glare and replied....



"I dont think so bitch. I dont think you realize who you are dealing with."



"yeah, a fucking vampire, now back off, your powers cant compare to mine. the boy is mine, now leave"



A sudden laugh emerged from Shadow's lips and then she was gone, the shadows from the clouds overhead had been wrapped around her and she was merely....gone....or so they thought.



see, Lady Shadow, was the Mistress, the shadows obeyed her and kept her hidden. But she was also more than a mere vampire. very little had known that she was a half-breed....her bloodlust and fangs and control of the shadows she got from her vampire side....but she was also a pixie. she could draw in energy from anything that emitted it, manipulate it to her liking and use it as she pleased.



so as she was hidden in the shadows, she collected her energies as well as those around her....including from the demon and the mortal...and yet she had this ability to keep it unnoticed.



meanwhile, the confrontation between the demon and Raven continued.







"well now that she's gone i think you have something that belongs to me"



raven knew what she wanted all to well

she was here for his active powers and for his life

ever since he killed her the first time for betraying him she swore an oath to exact her revenge on him



"didn't i kill you already?"

"you should know by now you can't get rid of me that easy"

Melissa vanished and reappeared behind him with a blink of an eye

she was way too fast to keep up with

both the demon and vampire were in a league of their own

but all the same they were both considered dead as far as he was concerned



raven turned to blast the demon but she caught his arm before he could use it

"getting rusty i see"



she pulled out a knife and pushed it inside of ravens stomach causing him to scream out in pain as blood dripped down into the earth

she was trying to absorb his powers into the knive for her own use



he began to feel his life fade away but before he passed out he saw something out of the corner of his eye, in the sky coming down fast but was out before he could make out what it was







Shadow was enraged at the nerve this demon had to attack her Raven.

A quick sweep of the shadows around her and she came in fast with all her gathered energies and threw them at the girl....sending her across the cemetary and slamming her into a giant headstone.



she turned to see Raven falling to the ground....and caught him. she gathered the remaining energy the she was picking up from the demon and mixed it with the darkness from her shadows and filled Ravens wound with it. She did not want him to die....not at the hands of an amateur demon....and yet she did not want to turn him either.....not yet at least. She cut open her wrist and let her blood fall on his wound to seal the shadows and energy inside and allow it to heal him.....



still gasping from the shortness of his breath, Raven lay in her arms looking up at her....confused as to why she would save him.....







after she had healed him, he stood up in confusion

face to face with someone he thought was his enemy

his thoughts were distracted as the demon screamed in anger



"why won't you die?"

the demon created a blast big enough to take out two city blocks

and threw it straight at them hoping to kill them both



Raven knocked the vampire out of the way

"i'll handle this "

he said as he created a blast of his own that collided with hers

as they collided a beautuful and destructive light show was displayed

dirt and debree flew everywhere



the shadowmistress was amazed at how much power he had

had he been supressing this power the whole time and had she underestimated him?







the powerful blast threw them all backwards. Raven was thrown into a headstone and knocked unconcious. Shadow saw him lying there helpless against the demon, and couldnt help but pick him up and cloak them both in the shadows to escape Melissa. They'd deal with her another time. A time when all their energy and power is collected and they are truely ready for a battle.



The demon collected herself and got up, only to face an empty cemetary. She was furious.

"YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!" she screamed into the air.

Lady Shadow took Raven back to her lair in the woods- A gothic styled mansion that rested on the edge of a cliff over-looking the ocean while the forest adorned the rest of its surroundings.



As Raven lay unconcious on the king-sized four-poster bed, Shadow tended to his wounds. She undressed him, licking up all the blood that covered his body, and licking her lips and savoring every last drop of his hot crimson life force, and then covered his body with the sheets.



She left him to rest and went to her library. She put on a fire and relaxed in her giant oversized chair and picked up a book to read, but no matter how hard she tried, all she could think about was Raven.



She craved his power...his blood...his body....She blushed at the thought of seeing him naked and in her bed. In the midst of all this, she heard someone in the doorway, she looked up to see Raven wrapped in a bath robe he found.







raven stood in the door way

his whole body was in so much pain



"i don't get it he mumbled"

everything was a blur his eyes were still stinging from the light

"what don't you get dear?" she asked as she put the book down



"why did you save me...i thought you wanted me dead"



she laughed



"no dear i only wanted you for my own and i wasn't about to let her kill you and take you away from me"



she got up and walked towards him but stoped when he jumped back in defense

he began to raise his energy as a black aura engulfed his body

red streaks ran though his hair



"what are you anyway?"

she asked as she backed off



realizing she wasn't going tot harm him

he let down his guard and explained things to her



"i'm a devil and my father was one was well his name was Sparda...i'm sure you've heard of him before"

"yeah i have....wait ...OH MY GOD

your the prince of darkness?"



"yeah but he's not alive anymore, couse i'm sure you know this already, every deamon devil and vampire in the underworld knows this



see i'm only a half breed...my mother was a witch and a human but my full power still comes out when i transform in my demonic side



after melissa and her race over threw my father i became the price of darkness and i was there next target



you see ...we devils were a very superior race and we feared nothing and loved to fight



demons were like the spawn of devils and weren't as powerful

they were like slaves to us and we sent them on missions to conqur other worlds

if we feared a demon was becomeing to strong them it was exacuted



one day she got every demon in the underworld who would fight to over throw my father

and well i've been running ever since and if i'm to ever regain my throne again then i'll need a lot of help"



raven sighed and looked back up at her



"will you hlep me?"







"of course I'll help you. You see, I am again at a point in my life where I face no challenges. It was a challenge hunting you down for so many years, but now that I have you, that challenge has ended. None of my kind, vampires nor pixies dare challenge me for control of the shadows. So, this a wonderful opportunity for me to make new challenges for myself, make new enemies.....it keeps my life interesting." she looked up at him and smiled, "yet having you here alone, in my own territory, and well.....without clothing (blushes a bit as she looks his body up and down) is quite interesting in itself. but it is late, we must rest, we can discuss this matter more tomorrow. You need to be well rested, I'd like you to show me what you are capable of tomorrow."



She lead him to his room, he has fresh pajamas waiting for him and would have fresh clothing in the morning. How she got these things, he may never know, e could have sworn she didnt even leave the house.



Raven sat at the edge of the bed, just now realizing that she had seen him naked.....she must have been the one to undress him. So he went to her room to ask her.



He made almost no sound as he creeped up to the door of her quarters....there she was, her tall slender body facing the window. she began to undress.

after about ten minutes of releasing his anger Raven finally fell to the floor, his black wings wrapped around his naked body









Shadow got up from the bed slowly and walked toward Raven. She knelt down in front of him with a worried look on her face.



Had this been her fault? Was it a mistake to have taken him to her bed? She just prayed this wasnt the case. She had obviously developed deeper feelings for this mortal boy, and like any other, doesnt wish to be hurt by her emotions.



She reached out one arm to him, trying to see his face but he was covered y his wings. She looked at them now, up close, amazed at the utter beauty of them. She touched them softly as if she were afriad that they might crumble beneath her touch.



Raven twitched under her touch. He obviously didnt like them to be touched.



"Im sorry," she said and looked at him, sorrow filling her eyes.

He slowly looked up at her, he could see her sorrow and how her heart felt and yet his eyes remained emotionless..



Her hand reached out to touch his face, but he avoided it at first, but seeing the hurt fill her eyes when he did this, he decided to let her touch him. He didnt see how it could be so bad



She caressed his face gently and it made him want her to touch him more. He wrapped his wings around her as well, bringing their bodies together. She wrapped her body around him and cradled him until they both fell asleep in each others arms.







when Raven awoke he found Mistress in his arms with his wings stretched out around her

he felt so different

her energy was now courseing through his veins

now with her next to him he would stand a fighting chance against the demon and also now since she was there he knew he also had a perpose in the life again as well

he no longer had to wonder if death would come to take him at any second

he would fight for peace but also for justice and he was going to fight for her



Raven stood up and walked into the kitchen for some coffie leaving Mistress on the bed

he had no clothes on and the only thing that was covering his body was his black wings



as the coffie was being brewed he wondered about Mistress

could he really trust her?

she couldn't be that bad could she? or maybe he just needed to let his guard down and move on

what happened to him was in the past now and he needed to worry about the future



"did you enjoy your self last night baby?"

suddenly Raven jumped at the sound of her voice



in the blink of an eye he went from calm to ready to kill anything that moved

but then he relized that it was his Mistress

and that everything was going to be ok

he could tell just by looking into her beautiful eyes







"I dont understand why you are still so defensive around me. Dont you know, I'm not going to hurt you. My feelings for you are too strong now," she started as she walked toward him with a robe in her hand, "Here, you can wear it if you like, or you can stay in your bare form, whichever pleases you more," she said as she azed longingly at his naked body, "but I do so enjoy the sight of your bare flesh," she finished with a smile.



She turned from him, opening the refridgerator and choosing something to make Raven for breakfast. Using so much energy in one night can be exhausting. As she started maing his breakfast, Raven put the robe on, poured his cup of coffee and sat at the dining table. As Shadow served him, she poured herself a glass of water to quench her thirst for the time being, but she would have to feed soon.



"So," she started, looking at Raven curiously, "is there anything else you'd like to tell me? Like maybe how your wings are like an angels, but you yourself are a devil. And why the sudden outburst last night? Did you not enjoy your time spent in my bed?" she questioned asn sat silently waiting for his response







Raven sat staring at his cup of coffie

"i'm not a pure blood so i guess since my mother was pure hearted i was given these wings but when i embrace my demonic side i can loose control and i might not be able to come back from it"

Raven looked out side as rain begain to slice through the air like a knife cutting the throat



"you might die, you know this right?"

"i know but i want to help you"

Mistress looked into his eyes hoping to unlock some secret door



suddenly Ravens wings slide back into his skin and the red streaks in his hair turned back to it's natural death black color



he got up and turned to walk out side

"i'm going to out to train so maybe we might stand a chance against her"



with that he turned and opened her door

Raven was greeted by the rain that slamed into his face and ran down his body but he was still unaffected by the cold chill

he closed the door walking out of sight leaving Mistress to think about the converstaion







Shadow sat there for a few moments, just staring at the closed door. She might die....did she really want that? Was she ready to give up everything because she loved him so much? She had lived a very long life, she's seen and done so many things throughout time, but was she really ready to give all that up?



As she looked out the window into the rain, she saw Raven and she knew it would hurt....but if she had to die to save him, she would do it.



Her reasoning being that she had lived a full life...and the other being that she wanted to show Raven just how deep her love was for him. She could tell he'd been hurt in the past, hurt by love and she wanted him to know that love wasnt always so painful, that it could heal scars of the heart and it could even save someones life....



Blood tears fell from her eyes as she looked upon him a minute more. She only wished she knew how he felt. In all the years of her life, she had never felt love like this, nor had she ever been loved in return...she had always hoped that one day she would know what its like.



But for now, she put her feelings aside, for she was weak and needed to feed. Shadow went to get dressed and left the mansjon without Raven knowing. She knew he didnt approve of her way of survival.







Raven stood there as the cold rain drove it's self into him like sharp daggers

he could tell winter was now setting in

the cold chill ran him straight to the bone and into his core letting him know that he was still alive somehow



He felt Mistresses energy suddenly heighten then dissapear from the house

he knew where she was going but thought nothing of it

with him being a devil, things were different for him, startaling different

he was able to sense someone's life force from another plain

he had the strenght of ten gods and could move around the world with the blink of an eye

lighting couldn't even touch him

but yet he couldn't defeat Melissia

after years of devowering other demons she had enough power to kill him and any one else who tryed to stop her

it scared him really, he found it funny and laugh out loud hilerous that he was scared of her



he had gotten soft over the years

in the times of peace he didn't train for there was no need to

no need to push him self to the next level and see how far he could take his body





Hours later he felt Mistresses energy return

she watched him from her window as he stood in the rain screaming at the sky

his raw power whipped around his body violently causing his eyes to turn white

this scared her for she had never felt such dark power, such hatred for the world

she couldn't understand how the darkness inside his heart hadn't consumed him already



later Raven took a break from training and walked inside, his body was dripping wet

he walked into the kitchen where mistress stood



"where'd you run off to?"



"what do you mean?"



"don't paly dumb with me i can smell the blood on you"



she looked at him shocked how did he know?

he gave her a glare then turned and walked into his room shutting the door behind him and layed onto his bed







Shadow followed soon after, and lightly tapped on the door. "Raven, can I come in?" she asked, slightly opening the door looking in at him lying on the bed silently.



When he didnt answer, she looked down at the floor in disappointment, and explained herself.

"Yes, I did go out. I needed to feed, Raven. You have to understand, I can't live off of solid foods...my vampiric side needs its fix. If I dont get enough of it, I get weak and lose control of what abilities I've got. Listen, I'll understand if you dont want me to help you now. But if you still want my help, I need to be strong, so I'm going to need blood. I just....hoped it would be different with you, " she said as pieces of her heart started to crumble. "Everyone I've ever gotten close to always ended up walking away from me and my 'lifestyle'. If you no longer wish to speak to me nor do you wihs to remain here, there are some clthes in that armoire that should fit you, and dont bother to say goodbye, I dont need to hurt anymore than I already am."



Tears began to fall once again as she walked down the hall to her bedroom.



Would he come around and realize that he needed to get over her way of life if he wanted to survuve? She could only hope that he would.







Raven was pissed at this point

he sat at the edge of the bed, his face showing no emotion, his hair hung down in his face not revealing his eyes



"i'm not going anywhere damnit, you wanted me and now you got me"

he looked up at her revealing his eyes , tears ran down his face and dripped onto the cold floor



"i'm doing this because you ran,

i'm pissed becuase you left WHY DIDN'T YOU COME TO ME BEFORE YOU RAN OFF DAMNIT?"



tears now ran uncontrollably down his face

with each word he screamed his heart broke even more and she was able to feel it

"i'm not saying goodbye and i'm not leaving if you wanted blood then you should have just asked "

he walked up to her hugging her tight letting his tears hit her shirt



"i love you and i need you

why haven't you realized that by now?"







She held him close, her own tears falling onto Raven.

"Because, I've never felt love before you, Raven. I do not know when anyone feels this way for me. I've gone so long without it, that I guess its just become a habit to ignore feelings from anybody. Its harder to get hurt that way. I love you Raven and I'm sorry," she said, kissing hic cheek and looking deep into his eyes.

"I only left because I knew you didn't approve. I really am sorry."







"it's ok i know what you mean"

he stood there holding her as they both cried



later they sat for hours just talking about there past and everything that had happened to them, how each had there heart broken

humor wasn't entirely lost in him

sometimes he would laugh but it was very little

it was sad really

for centurys this devil had fought off the demons attacks the one who swore she loved him the one who said she'd never leave and yet still she had planted a knife into his back even after the life he tried to give her

it was sad really he was a perfect devil even though his thirst for death and destruction had completly ruined his boyish good looks he had going



Mistress suddenly noitced a look in his eye

something she feared

she knew he had to leave she had felt the demons energy as well and she was very close



"i have to go now"

"wait i'll go with you"

"no it's to dangerous"

"please i can help you"

Raven took her into his arms hugging her and kissed her softly then he turned and quickly struck her in the back of the head

knocking her uncounous

"i'm sorry my love but i don't think i could forgive myself if anything happened to you

i can hear them those people screaming and that's why i have to go

i know you'll understand someday"



he turned toward the city where smoke and fire was rising up



"see ya later kid"



with that he took to the air leaving a trail of ki in his wake







As Lady Shadow lay there unconcious on the kitchen floor, she dreame...or more so, saw a nightmare.



It was dark, she heard screaming and crying and yet all she saw was darkness. Then, a light before her and there was Raven, in the middle of the street. Off in the distance was Melissa. They battled right before her eyes, but Shadow felt that something was wrong....



She called out to Raven and for that one moment that he hesitated, thinking that he heard his lover call out to him, Melissa threw a fiery blast at him, knocking him off his feet and leaving him bloodied and bruised. A shrill sound came from her mouth and out of nowhere, two of her demon followers appeared, they stood there together, holding Raven and chanted something.

A portal opened in the groun and Shadow collapsed to her knees, crying as the demons took her one and only into the depths of Hell, where he would be slowly tortured to death upon his throne in front of the entire kingdom of Hell.



Lady Shadow immediately woke up screaming out for Raven. Her head hurt and she remembered the moments right before she fell.....She feared that what she was true. All she knew was that she wouldnt let Raven suffer like that. She didnt want that evil bitch to get her way...



She needed help, and a way to get into the underworld....She just hopes that by the time she arrives....she's not too late.







Shadow walked back into Ravens room and sat on the bed trying to sort this all out

what would she do? and how could she save him?

suddenly she looked down and noticed there was a small book that had the word spells written across it



she picked up the book and opened it causing a letter to fall out that was adressed to her



"My dearest love if you are reading this right now then i suppose it is over now and i'm gone

i'm sorry it had to be this way but i had to save you and show you just how much i loved you



i'm giving you this book to help you in the future because i know you'll need it

please take this and remember me every day

i love you

tears ran down her face as she read the letter

her heart had just broke in half how could she loose him like this



She began to turn the pages when suddenly a loose page fell out onto the floor

she picked it up and noticed that it said portals in big bold black print at the top

below was a set of instructions with how to open portals and how to travel to different realms of the world



later she lit some black candles and drew a pentagram in the floor just in case

she began to say the spell and suddenly a loud voice came out of no where



"SHADOW!!"



"what? who there?"



she became very frightened



"it is i Sparda, Ravens' father"



"but i thought you were dead?"

" i am but that's not important right now and if your are to save raven then you are going to need my help"



"what are u going to do?"



"well Raven has a sister named jade, she took is a half breed like raven

she was on her way to help him when she was got held up fighting demons so now it is up to you to get to him in time before Melissia steals his soul and power. i'm given you the same powers as a fire starter, it's nothing compared to a demon or a devil but with you being a vampire and your current abilitys it should help you a bit"



suddenly she began to feel her flesh heat up

a light beneath her came up and went straight into her chest

it was the most pain ful thing she had ever felt

her whole body felt like it was on fire

but then she felt more powerful then ever before



"now go and save my son but don't let the power go to your head

go be a hero"



suddenly she opened her eyes and she was standing in the graveyard again but this one was much different

everything was on fire and black

it was so depressing and yet so beautiful

this was it it was all or nothing for the mistress

she was detremined and driven to save Raven







She was eager to save him but needed to test her new powers, she wasnt really sure what to do with them. So she held out her arm, palm facing up and thought about having fire in her hands and...woosh...there it was....a ball of flames rising up from her hand. She aimed it at one of the headstones and it disappeared. she wasnt sure what she did wrong, but then, there was a burst of flames suddenly at the same hadstone that she was aiming at. But how could that be? She did it over and over again and the same thing happened each time. The only explanation was that her shadow control was hiding them. Then she wrapped herself in shaddows and threw more fireballs. She could only imagine what her fireballs and shadows could do once she had active energy to tamper and draw from.



She also quickly learned that by combining more than one fireball, created a bigger blast.



Even with her new powers, she wished she had an army of her own to back her. She doubted that she'd be able to call to them from the underworld, but an army of shadow vamps would have been nice, but she really had no time to think about this, she had to find Raven.



Lady Shadow cloaked herself in the shadows and moved through the graveyard and on into the outer territory of the kingdom. She needed to work quickly.







Mistress ran threw the outskirts of the graveyard trying to track Ravens energy it was getting weak and she was starting to wonder how much longer he could hold out



"please hold out Raven you just have to"

she thought to her self as she quickly darted through the shawdows hoping to hide herself in the ruined wasteland

suddenly she stopped dead in her tracks when a group of demons came out from the dark and cut her off



"damnit not now" she thought

she couldn't deal with them right now she had to get to the castel, but first she had to deal with them and quickly



the demons attacked her all at one, trying to depose of her

she figured they must have been desprite at this point if they were gonna go all out on her



Mistress qave her hand a quick wave at them sending them flying across the graveyard in a burnning fury and crashing into headstones

she quicly exacuted them wasting no time and going striaght for the kill

she continued this untill she reached the front door of the castel



Mistress opened the black heavy doors that screamed in agony as she pushed the open revaling the inside, she ran down the halls following Ravens screams and his energy that began to fade quicker now

she had to find him and save him even if it ment giving up her exsistance.



ShadowMistress finally make her way to where raven was

she entered a door that had demonic symbols all aross the the front of it

she opened the door to make her way into the other room and was shocked at what she saw

There hung up by chains was raven

he had bloody cuts going across his chest and his back



blood made it's way down his body and onto the floor



"what's the matter boy, feeling weak, humileated

FOOL YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HUMILATION IS!!!!!!"

she screamed at him and planted her fist into the side of his face causing more blood to spill onto the floor



Mistress grew very angry at this site

"get away from him"

she screamed and charged at melissia swinging at her but her attacks were doged as if they were intecipated

Mistress threw one fireball after another till she was completlely drained of her energy

she fell to her knees exausted not knowing what to do next



"looks like this is the end of the line for you

i hope you can find comfort in you death"

she raised her hand with a fireball in it about to strike when suddely a powerful blast sent her flying into a wall



Mistress looked up and noticed a woman standing in the doorway it was Ravens sister



"look at you showing off and stealing my spotlight"

Raven laughed at his sister

"i knew u couldn't stay away"

he said with a wraspy voice

Mistress looked over and noitced that her friend Gabrell had free'd raven

she was a shadow vampire as well

"what are u doing here?"

mistress asked stunned



"i though you could use some help so i brought back up"

she noitced the Vampire army standing behind her in the distance ready to do battle



"ILL KILL YOU ALLL"

suddenly the room began to shake apart and the floors began to shift ontop of one another till there was nothing left but the ruined wasteland



a swam of demons raised up from the ground, millions of demons as far as the eye could see surronded them

Gabrell and the others knew that they were still out numbered and this battle could claim there life



Raven made this first move as he darted toward Melissia and sent a fireball at her hitting her in the face and sent her face first into the dirt

but raven wasn't standing long as Demons sent him flying back into a wall causing him to scream out in pain







Shadow became angrier and angrier the more she saw Raven get hurt. She was weak though, at the moment she couldnt do much to help, so she turned to abrielle and with a simple small nod of the head, Gabrielle turned to the rest of the vampires and they cloaked themselves.



Their shadow attacks surprised the demon rebels and gave them no time to react and dodge the attacks. Demons rushed in at Jade and she kept them at bay with her fireballs, until one snuck in behind her, catching her off guard and slamming her into the ground.



Shadow saw anger fill Raven when he saw this. As he was about to rush to her aid, Melissa stepped in front of him and pushed him back against the wall. She put her hand at his throat and lifted him up, slowly choking him.



Shadow coucldnt let her do this, she was so weak, she could barely move.....she was lucky that no demons had come at her yet, they must've thought she was dead.



She closed her eyes and shut out the sounds around her, concentrating on each individuals energy. She could sense that she had lost many of her vamps but Gabrielle was still strong. Jade's was getting weaker, the demons were pretty strong, Raven's was nearly non existant, and Melissa's was raging.



Shadow concentrated on Melissa's energy, she pictured it as raginf flames surrounding her body and pictured herself consuming it. Melissa's flames became smaller and she felt her energy loss, causing her grip to loosen and Raven fall to the floor gasping for air. On part of Melissas energy alone, Mistress was ready to destroy that bitch.



She got up off the ground and first went to Jade's side. She couldnt let Raven watch his sister die. She slipped through the shadows and stood next to Jade's side as the demons swarmed them. She grabbed Jades hand and she shared some of Melissa's energy, and together, their skin started glowing as if on fire and just by thinking of haivng the demons go up in flames, the demons surrounding them started to burn.



Once she felt that Jade could make it on her own, she rushed back to Raven. He was in pain and didnt have enough left in him to fight back. She looked into his eyes and kissed him, sending energy through her kiss, feeding it to him as their bodies began to burn together.



Melissa saw them kiss and pulled Shadow away from him by the hair.



"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?!! NO MORE ENERGY TRICKS, BITCH, ITS TIME FOR YOU TO DIE" she screamed.







Raven saw this and became ferious at this

with in a second he blinked and sent melissia flying through a wall

he looked down at mistress, she had used up alot of energy trying to help everyone else



"it's ok love i can take it from here"

he said with a serous look no taking his eyes off melissia

Mistress became frightned now for she had never seen this look in his eyes before

she knew that he ment bussiness now

he began to walk toward were Melissia layed but stopped when she stood up



"what's wrong you started out so feriously

loose your nerve?"

Melissia asked with a smirk on her face

she raised her hand pointing a finger at him releasing a energy beam out of it that went right past him

"wow your aim is crap"

he said



but what a sec what if-

he turned sharply tword mistress and noticed she was holding her chest and began to fall but landing in Ravens arms



" no no this can;t be happing, just hold on baby your gonna be just fine just hold on ok?"



she could see the panic in his eyes as tears ran down his face

she ran a hand across his cheeck wiping away his tears



"i'll be fine just promise me you'll take care of the others"

suddenly jade limped toward Raven and signaled him to take care of Melissia



he stood up with an emotionless face and rage in his heart



"ok bitch let's play"

and charged at her with everything he had.







Jade then cradled Lady Shadow in her arms as her brother attacked Melissa with every last fiber of his being.

Gabrielle came to her side, no body wanted her to die....Raven loved her, she was like a sister to Gabrielle, and Jade knew that her brothers heart would never repair if she died.

Gabrielle called over two of the most powerful vampires that remained in the group and they all gathered their shadows around them and took Mistress with them....they knew she would feel more alive there, they werent sure what they were going to do to help her....all they knew was that they needed to try. Jade sat there, awaiting their return.



Meanwhile, Raven kept attacking Melissa. Fireballs were tossed here and there between them both....they both dodged the majority but every now and then one of them got hit....Melissa more than Raven....his rage empowered his blasts.....Melisaa was slowly getting weaker...but tears still ran down Ravens face.....he couldnt lose her....she meant everything to him, and he didnt know what he would do without her...



The shadows helped Mistress's energy repair itself a little, but, she still needed a lot of help. Jade and her had connected only a few minutes earlier, so Jade took her back in her arms and let their skin start burning together, Jade knew that somehow Shadow had firestarter abilities, so she created a ball of blue flames in her hand and brought it to Shadows chest....she forced it into the wound and Mistress screamed in agonizing pain....it felt like her entire insides were burning....like it did when she first adopted these abilites from Sparda.



Her scream distracted Raven for a few seconds and in that time Melissa threw a blast at him, sending him across the room. She slowly walked toward him, complettely igonoring Shadow on the ground, figuring that she was good as dead, and knowing that the others were no match for her...



Shadow slowly lifted herself up as she saw Melissa standing over Raven, ready to finish him....She wrapped the shadows around her and started sending fireballs one after the other at her...then, grabbing Raven right before her eyes, they went to the other side of the room to collect themselves as Melissa got back up....



Mistress told Raven how much she loved him and that whatever happened, that he was the best thing to ever happen to her. She kissed him softly on the cheek and took his hand. they both faced Melissas wrath together, as they shared their energy and created more powerful blasts than even Melissa could create. They sent it straight at her.....she screamed in pain as the flames engulfed her entire body, the flames scted as if they were alive and as if they were carniverous creatures....the flames ate at her flesh, and somehohw she still seemed to manage balsts back at them, but Mistress cloaked them in the shadows and dodged each one....this was the end of Melissa, it had to be.





Raven noticed that melissa was still somehow alive but how? he wondered

he walked over to her and looked her right in the eyes



"this is payback for what u did to me u bitch"



what he didn't know is that she still enough energy for a final blast

she quickly raised her hand up and sent a blue flame into his chest that made him collapse to the ground with pain



Mistress threw a fireball and incenterated melissa then checked on Raven

he was on his knees and in shock of what just happened

she sat down next to him trying to comfort him when she noticed his black hair began to turn a light brown and his eyes as well



"Raven what's happening to you?" she asked as tears made there way down her face

"he's mortal now and that means that he's no longer a devil and he can't rule the underworld"

Jade apeared from the shawdows holding her wounds

"and that means that i'm the only one left to rule it.....i'm the last of my clan"

Mistess looked at raven shocked not knowing how to act to this



Suddenly Raven grabbed his chest as pain ran though his veins causing his to pass out







Misress picked Raven up andcreated a portal home....this battle was finished. they all followed her back to her mansion. she thanked all of her kind for the help, especially gabrielle, they wouldnt have stood a chance without them, and then bid them ado...



Shadow sent Jade to get cleaned up and gave her a room to stay in so that she could heal before she went back to the underworld to clean up the mess and take care of her business. Shadow carried Raven to her room and laid him down on the bed....he was out for what seemed like eternity...



Jade healed within days and said her good byes but promised to visit more often. As she walked away she looked into Shadow's eyes with a look that clearly said "Take care of him, or I will kill you."



Mistress tended to his wounds every day. She wasnt used to wounds healing so slowly. Eventually Raven was up and around again, back to his 'normal' self again after a few weeks. But in those weeks he noticed that he wasnt the only one with some problems. He was noticing that Mistress's senses were all heightened, she was getting sick almost every morning, and she had an increased appetite for blood...What was going on with her?



Lady Shadow knew what was wrong, she just couldnt understand how....she was technically dead, wasnt she? or was it the pixie in her that kept her body alive. Her body still acted like it was mortal, it did the things that mortal womens bodies do and thats how she knew what was wrong....



She was smiling all the time, wondering if he had noticed, wondering when the right time was for her to tell him...Although Raven was no longer a devil, their unborn child was....or at least a half-breed. Was that enough for it to take over the underworld when Jades ruling was done?



One morning, she sat down at the table with Raven. "Are you okay?" he asked worriedly, "you arent dieing are you? Its just that ive noticed you getting sick and stuff."



"I'm wonderful Raven, my love....in fact, there is something that I've been wanting to tell you....I'm pregnant darling....you have given me a child and made me the happiest person in the world. I love you so much" she said as she got up from the table to embrace him in a romantic kiss.



"I love you too, Shadow"
