The reason, I mention king Salomon, is to correct a statement that the author claims that the Bible doesn't allow polygamy. Now if you read all the prophets in the old testiment. They had many wives.
You could say, that the old testimony doesn't count.
Jesus did say I didn't come to change the laws but to fillful it.

Now in my community we fully accept poly relationship. Rather you have two husbands or wives, it doesn't matter. Love is love.

During the American civil war the south used the bible to endorse slavery as God's will too. Human sacrifice is supposed to be evil too but yet someone was asked by God to sacrifice his son right? The reasoning being all the rules change for God or his so called chosen people. I suppose one can reason that since God establishes the authorities that people are to subject themselves to in the new testament and so when the south lost the civil war it then became His will to abolish slavery unless you lose your constitutional rights and become a convicted felon. If one wants to adhere to authority of the bible then you should subject yourself to the authorities and laws of the land you live in. Thus you have to ratify a federally recognized religion that allows polygamy and be a disciple of it to be legal. Isn't there some state that allows that for a religion off the top of my head? In my studies of the bible no so called Cristian should be anywhere near this site being unequally yoked with unbelievers but since it's not absolute truth then the watered down versions should be okay that anyone belongs to.
