Yes, that's right. Freedom is a distinctly vampiric concept. Let us begin by defining freedom. It is the ability to exercise free will in its most powerful state, that of being free to as one wishes but to feel not a single regret afterwards.



From this point of view, freedom begins to sound suspiciously like being a vampire does it not?



The most free of all beings are vampires. We possess the true freedom to do as we wish. We have become laws which only we must follow. We do not regret our actions.



Our uncanny ability to be completely remorseless is something humans envy. So the next time you see a human, tell them they are not free.



Tell them never to speak of a concept they do not understand.

Ah, damn it. I've just ripped my favorite shirt. Well, it had a TruBlood spill. I guess you know by now that as always, I am drinking A Positive.



The humans here are charming, and quite the number of people want to walk on the dark side.



Sometimes I can't believe I live on this bottled blood. A decade ago and I would not have even dared touch the stuff.



I guess maybe I drink it because it's convenient and doesn't put up a fight.



Sweden, ah my beloved homeland, is so near and yet so far. I miss my home. Perhaps when I get back, I can once again feast on the warm blood of my human servents at the Manor.



Oh how I miss my beloved Sweden...

I have lived far too long on this earth. I have roamed the world, seen and done everything there is to do, lost everything only to gain it again.



I have fought every battle there is to fight, lost my fair share of friends, watched others grow old, weaken and die.



I have felt every loss, gone through ordeals unimaginable to weak human minds. I have seen a turning ceremony and encountered creatures presumed to be only found in myth.



A millennia's worth of experiences have been my source of both extreme happiness and excruciating pain.



I have seen the rise and fall of nations, seen leaders come and go. I have bore witness to both the achievements and atrocities of mankind.



One thousand years seems so long for others, yet so short by my standards.



And yet, as long as I can marvel at the light of the moon, appreciate the beauty of a lonely flower, look at how the moonlight strides my window, I remain alive.

I'm off on a holiday in Austria. I must admit, I like the weather here. It is mildly cloudy and the breeze is invigorating. The night life seems to be quite the party. I can see why so many people like it here.



Vienna is charming. It reminds me of the olden days when architecture was not so much for use as it was for appreciation. The sights are simply enchanting.



The city of Salzburg though, is nothing like I have ever seen. Its austerity reminds me of my homeland, and the people are so downright friendly.



The one catch though is that due to my uh, condition, I cannot enjoy it during the day. Such a shame, is it not?



However, Austria is still charming even at night and that is something I can certainly say in no uncertain terms.

Okay, this is a simple yet deep review of the human blood types which is according to my preferences, although I dearly hope it might be of use to you in any way.



A Positive

This is my personal favorite due to its smooth and well-balanced flavor, which is not too harsh and has mildly distinctive aftertastes.

B Positive

This is a little livelier and is more likely to elicit a reaction than most other blood types. Careful though, might be a bit strong for beginners.

O Positive

This one is distinct. Due to its lack of IG or immunoglobulin, O+ offers a completely different set of cool tastes which is hard to find in the other types.

AB Positive

This one offers a taste combination which, as the name implies, is a struggle between the balance you can find in A+ and the strength of B+.

A Negative

Another of my favorites. A- is smooth and velvety, quite rich too. If you're one of those who have aristocratic taste buds, this one's a surefire hit.

B Negative

This one is sort of the cooled down version of B+ which, while stil being strong, is now less textured and harsh.

O Negative

If you ever find that you need something to dilute the flavor of another blood type, then I personally recommend O- as a good choice to even out the flavor.

AB Negative

This one is a conundrum. Cool yet lively, smooth yet textured. There is no single definition which fits this enigmatic type, but if you're looking for an adventure, then this one's for you.

I just do not at all understand why society is so slow in accepting that vampires are very superior to them. They portray us as savages when they themselves have not risen above the savagery of their pointless wars.



They accuse us of killing and being uncivilized, when they do not even know of our sophistication and culture. Besides, have they not killed before?



Vampires are merely more direct about survival than humans. As I have alwyas said, all life is vampiric, in a way. For one to live, another must die. It is nature's method of extending life.
