Everything must be so busy for everyone else here!

I'm doing my celebrations for Solstice. I'm still soaking up as much magic and energy as I can for this year's upcoming spell work. I'm a pagan. My solstice was busy, beautiful and wonderful. My birthday is on the second so this is a high time for me. I really feel more energized, even though I'm also somehow more sleepy. I was able to get a small gluten free cake. It's the same brand and type as the one I ate with my dad last year while he was in hospital. It was a happy birthday because we were together with our spooky stories and little cake big enough for three servings. He liked it so much, I didn't mind that he wanted a second piece.

It makes me so sad but I know how much he loved me.

I've been catching up on my collection of audiobooks. It's different from reading and sometimes I'll catch myself trying to read a book while listening to a book. I feel a little rundown from everything. I'm trying to be supportive of other people's Christmas and still celebrate the rise of the Sun and the turning of the year.

My cats have been rather cuddly and sweet. They aren't causing me a lot of issues like jumping on the tables, knocking over my things and etc.

I also scored a lot of free shoes from Sears. Almost free shoes. I spent anywhere to $2-$6 for each of the five lots of two I got. That's TEN pairs of shoes for under $20 plus a pair of boots. It was a crazy haul. I recommend everyone sign up for a Sears/Kmart account and wait for the $25 of freecash. Right now they're having free shipping on a $25 order. I really needed new shoes since I'm down to two pairs of sneakers, one pair of cowboy boots and a pair of dress shoes my dad bought me for a family gathering a year ago.

So, in typical dark fashion, I bought three pairs of hiking boots, one pair of Daria-style brown boots, and six pairs of black Daria-style boots. Plus a tall pair of black boots. I know what I like. I'm not a pumps person, but I think I had a red pair somewhere if they weren't lost in the move.

I'm born on January 2: Tuesday's Child. I don't feel like doing anything. I just want to sleep and recuperate. I'd love if some of the Vampires here could drop me a line.
