My computer died. And it took my copy of Photoshop with it. I'd say I'm annoyed, but it would be a lie, I'm actually kind of glad. I don't need to be tethered to that machine anymore. Not that I have been for like, months now, but yeah. I'm pretty sure it stopped working a while ago and I only now realized it by trying to turn it on.

From what you told me it might have had several viruses from all the people using it, not to mention the various cooling issues it had all could have caused the damage that dealt the final blow.



But, a total overhaul could save it. New hard drive, processor, power supply, RAM chips, better fans and graphics card and it would be good as new. Actually, it would technically be a new computer.

I don't want a tablet, we have one and I am not a big fan of using it. The app version of Photoshop is not the same as the computer version. I prefer the computer version, as it's what I learned on. Also, I just don't give a fuck about having a computer or access to Photoshop anymore. I don't make graphics so it doesn't really matter if I have it or not. I'm done with all of that. What I do here I can do via my phone. If it can't be done that way, I simply do not need to do it.

Sometimes talking things out isn't as horrible as I always believe it to be. I need to remember that there are people who care about me and want to help me in any fashion that they are able. And they can't do that if I just bottle it all up inside, letting it eat away at me so I end up taking it out on innocent bystanders.

I've been neglecting this place lately. That's not likely to change anytime soon.



I want to say that I am super proud of WallFlower and what he's doing with images in Photoshop. He's come a long way in a very short amount of time. I knew he would surpass my "skills" with the program in no time, and he has. There are a few things he still needs to work on, but what he can do, for someone who's just started with the program, is just so awesome. It makes me smile.

It's rewarding in a way, just to go around this beautiful, damaged world and punch everything in its stupid face. Knights, droolies, bosses, fuck 'em. If they have a face, or something resembling that, I am going to punch them in it. That's my Titan' s Creed: Punch all the things! And I do. And it's fun. Goodness, is it ever fun. I laugh every single time I murder punch an enemy.

I could play Destiny for forever and not consider one second of it wasted. I don't know why, but I am just hopelessly in love with that game. It's the best parts of Halo and Borderlands and a dash of MMO all mixed together in an awesome pot full awesomeness creating this big awesome wonderful thing.



So, you probably won't see me around here for, well, I don't know. I am all caught up in the world of Destiny, kicking ass with my Titan.

I've already hit level 21. I'm slowly but surely hitting level 22 and on up. It's A LOT of work to hit level past 20.

It's not that much work. It hit 22 in about three days, I'm just a stones throw away from 23. It's all about getting the proper upgrades to your armor and such. When you upgrade it increases your Light, which increases your overall level. And bounties and such. It all factors into the numbers. It's actually really easy to move beyond that level "cap" of twenty if you just play the game. And, well, Destiny has proven to be rather addicting, so playing isn't much of a problem.

Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is not the Mexican equivalent of Halloween. You would think that people would know that in Southern California, where there is a very strong Hispanic presence. I am so tired of telling people that, no, they are not interchangeable. That they don't share the same themes, as Día de los Muertos is about honoring loved ones who have departed from this world, not dressing up as slutty -insert occupation here- going to parties or begging strangers for candy. They are not similar, they are not the same. Stop with the ignorance in assuming that because something refers to death and is held at the end of October/beginning of November, that is the same thing as Halloween. It isn't. It never was and it never will be.

It's going to be interesting to see how many people on my friends list on Xbox throw in Destiny come midnight. I know a lot of people who have been waiting eagerly for its release.



I think I may just avoid Xbox until my copy comes. I haven't touched Halo in weeks, and I don't see that changing, and GTA has gotten old. The novelty of blowing people up has worn off. Destiny is what I want to play, and once I get it all other games might as well not even exist.

That's the problem with GTAO, it's just driving around, shooting people, doing death matches and missions. It's pretty stale and still feels incomplete. Rockstar relied too much on hype to get their game sold and didn't bother to put in any substance.

I got a text from my George today just totally out of the blue. He was someone I used to see, some years ago. He's still living upstate in San Francisco, and that about all I was able to get out of him. But, he said he would text me later and we would talk. It's nice, hearing from him again. I've missed him over the years, he was always fun to be around, and I always appreciated that he would take the time to drive the 7+ hours to see me.





Bah, I never did hear back from him. But, that's alright. I'm not the same person I used to be when we saw each other, and I have no desire to become that person again. So, should he ever text me again, it'll be nice to chat, but I don't think we'll ever be as close as we once were.

You never realize just how much stuff you have until you have to move everything and clean. I always bitch about my bedroom, it's this odd shape for one, and it seems pretty small with all my furniture in place. But, no...it's not small at all. And, while I don't think I have a whole lot, I really, really do. I wanted to clean every inch of my room today, vacuum, clean the baseboards, wipe down the walls, clear out the dust, basic stuff. Was that ever a chore. I have too much crap. And what's sad is I actually don't have a lot. There's my bed, my bookshelf, my TV stand, chair, this end table that is actually my parents, and two storage containers that are stackable that I use as a dresser (I gave my actual dresser to my brother and sister-in-law to clear out some space) and file cabinet. So, not that much. But, moving everything was such a hassle. I got it done, thankfully, but damn. Was that a hell of a lot of work.



I totally need a nap now. A shower and a nap.

You know, before I couldn't really understand why so many people exploited glitches in GTA Online, but now I get it. I started using one that bypasses the wait time between selling cars to LSC, and now I can make easy money just about every five minutes. I'm not even selling super cars, just what I find on the street. But that's a good 9k for like, not even a minute of work. Find the right car, which should spawn everywhere after the first time you sell it, then drive it to LSC and sell that bitch. The majority of the time is spent in those damn loading screens. I love GTA 5, but the loading times are quite possibly the worst I have ever dealt with.

That's how I feel about Oblivion. The loading, always loading! Like... you go into a town, and need to speak to 5 people. All of these people live in different houses, all house has a loading screen - or more. Some houses have up to 4 loading screens depending on how many rooms it has.

Ugh.

So much loading.
