I had a pretty wonderful Christmas weekend. I got a text message this morning from someone I didn't expect to hear from, so that was pretty wonderful. A nice present in itself. Spent Christmas Eve with my mom's family, and my partner was there for the first time, which made the night that much better. And today was spent with my brother, sister-in-law, my niece and nephew, and my mom. We had a delicious dinner and then opened some presents. All-in-all, it's been a wonderful end to a pretty fantastic year. New Years I get with my partner, so that will be nice, being able to ring in another year together.

I've got some projects ahead of me, but boy, I'm looking forward to things! Oh, the ideas I have. I can't wait to make them a reality.
A huge congratulations to VR's newest Master Vampire, SireWallFlower! No one deserves this promotion more than you, my friend. I'm so proud of you!

never knew that person existed on vr Congrats !!
Thank you so much!
I was going through some of my files yesterday, looking for things for a friend, and I stumbled upon these... Different times, when we were different people. Sometimes, I miss those days. But those days are gone and we aren't who we used to be anymore. Well, at the very least, I'm not. They will forever remain cherished memories because there is no going back. Though I will always love him immensely, love is also knowing when to let go.

In the years that I’ve been away from vr, I have gone through a really bad breakup….so, I totally commiserate with you. I still think of him every day. He just took his shit and left me one day. Haven’t spoken since.
It's always hard going through that, losing people we love. With Matthew, it was always more than just a simple relationship, he was my best friend. That's what hurts the most. But, we made our choices and we turned away from 14 years of friendship due to... Irreconcilable differences, I suppose. And though it's been a while, it still hurts. I'm always going to care for him, despite what some may believe, he meant...means...the world and more to me, but we can't change what's been done. And as stated, love is knowing when to let go. This is me, letting go completely and fully. What's done is done, the chapter has ended and the page needs to be turned.
So, Book of Mormon was really good, very enjoyable. It was nice to get out to the Theatre again, especially the Pantages. God, I love the art deco old school Hollywood charm it has. Though, I could do without the $4 waters and $30 parking...
My brother got my mother and I pretty last minute tickets to go see The Book of Mormon at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood tomorrow afternoon. This has really been a gift in the making, since they originally got us tickets for the show for Christmas in 2019, then, well, 2020 happened so we never got to go. But, I'm stoked to go. I love the Pantages, I've seen so many shows there from Phantom to Les Mis to Wicked. Its such a beautiful theatre. So, thats what my weekend looks like. Hopefully the traffic won't be too awful for a 2 o'clock showing. Parking shouldn't be too high, either. They tend to up the prices in the evenings, not so much the afternoon. I fucking hate driving through Hollywood, but it'll be worth it. Granted, the seats are kinda shit, but it's totally last minute, so I can't complain. At least this time we're up in the mezzanine section, not like when they got us tickets to Wicked and we were in the very back of the theatre.
