In the most ancient of times in the area of the world N.E Africa and the Arabian penn. there existed nomads

armed men, who destroyed each other until only five remained. These five assisted Him in building Thebes. One of the five was named Ophion.



The descendants of the warriors of the Serpent are the Thebans, so talked about. The Serpent is our National Insignia. From these descendants arose Hercules and upon his shield was the Sacred Hierogram by which the warriors

of the Cadmian Family are distinguished - in a circle two Serpents suspended, lifting up Their heads.



Below the Ismenian Hill that is dedicated to Apollo is the Ismenus River and Thebes. Near the river is the Sacred Fountain of Mars which is guarded by the Serpent. From Thebes Lord Cadmus and the Kivy moved on to Epirus; then to Illyria at Encheliae were Lord Cadmus, and His Lovely wife Lady Harmonia, instead of dying a natural death were Transformed into Serpents.



Here the Kivy erected a Temple in commemoration of this Mighty event. The Temple lies half a days sail from the Arion.
