Stuff I am grateful for.
Cats that crack me up when the faeries start messing with them.
A husband who is ever patient with me, supportive, loving, and tells me how it is when I need to hear it.
Birra updating his blog with pictures from his many adventures. Bringing back memories of our many adventures together, awesome conversations, and the continuation of an amazing friendship.
The loves in my life who are so very excited about my upcoming baby shower. SQUEE!
A baby girl who does a happy dance in my tummy for the sake of carrots. :)
The realization of finding home. Knowing the move back to Western New York is where I'm supposed to be. The gypsy is finally going to put down roots.
mmm, I think that's enough for tonight. I'll continue with more tomorrow. Need to make up for a couple days.
My 15 year niece and her thoughtfulness. She's messaged me on Facebook for 2 days in a row just to tell me she loves me. I don't think she knows how much that means to me right now.
A husband who worries about my health more than I do...:p He keeps me on track when I don't want to.
A baby girl kicking around in my belly who makes me laugh with her after meal antics. The child LOVES carrots and strawberries. lol
Rain in the afternoon
1. A much needed, very relaxing, uninterrupted nap.
2. A football game that was nerve racking yet fun to watch. GO BIG BLUE! :P
3. Two wonderful cats who love me even after I scare the crap out of them by yelling and clapping at the TV.
1. A day of no rush, it will get done when it does, pampering. My hair is cut back to its proper style. My eyebrows actually have shape again. And finally, my finger and toe nails match my car. I swear I didn't do the last one on purpose. :p
2. Mailing addresses in my text message in box to send out invites for a baby shower with lots of excited messages to go along with addresses.
3. Squeals of joy in the parking lot of the grocery store as a dad pushes the 'race car' cart through the parking lot at break neck speed just to make his kids happy.
I love how this is making me change the outlook of my day. I find myself looking for my daily gifts. In doing so my outlook is positive and relaxed. I feel like my old self again. :)
What a wonderful idea from the one and only lovely Joli.
Today I will start to recognize the beauty and wonder in my life. Today I will make an effort to recognize every day the small blessings. Today I will begin to make an effort to recognize the good in the worst of circumstances. Today I will outwardly share the joy and charm that has been and will be my life. Today and every day is a gift and will begin to count my gifts and treasure them.
1. An unexpected phone call from a dear childhood friend willing to travel to me to support my husband and I during the birth of our daughter.
2. The realization and relief of not working and focusing on the health of myself and my child.
3. The gift of a good morning kiss from the love of my life. Yeah, I adore my husband...ain't I a lucky girl? :)
