grant to me a piece of your eternity
so i can cast away, all of my calamities
kiss my lips again my love, touch my soul again
before the world is consumed and burned by sin
let me just for once, see inside your eyes
let me see your beauty, before the moment dies
Beyond the woods of misty vale, begins a truly tragic tale
two were said to live within, a cottage made of stone
but once the darkness had set in, the woman left him all alone
into the forest she set out, to leave the lazy, drunken lout
unawareness in her mind, shed left her saftey far behind
the man in anger followed fast, unaware that hed run past
a tall and hounting set of bones, wedged between two larger stones
at his pace in hot pursuit, his former bride in mind to shoot
unaware that hed just met, a gaunt and haunting silhouette
the specter reached a hand to grab the brute, his very soul the reaper's loot.
the bride had heard the violent scream, and ponder at what it could mean
what dark fate rallied his demise? she gazed into the foggy skies
in doing so she lost her head, the reaper there had struck her dead
the bodies soon were found at dawn, his: a raven, hers: a swan
without a word the two were buried, wing in wing, like they were married
and as the sun shone in the vale, t'was seen a lonesome figure pale
no spoken word was made, as he guarded grave where they were laid
and misty vale then was cursed. darkness fell and light dispersed
the town of wonder fell to shame, knowing they were all to blame
eternal night then took the town. their souls were lost and never found

grant to me the kiss of death
and walk with me at night.
no longer have i need of breath
nor will i jump in fright.

once upon a time
in a land not far away
within a stony sepulcher
a sleeping maiden lay
swabbed in garb of green and blue
her hair as black as night
her skin a pale hue
when her eyes had shut
with no more light to give
the village laid her body down
and thought she did not live
but when the garish light of sun
cast its final light
the maiden's eyes would open wide
and she'd ascend into the night
