...I don't think traffic here in the Buffalo area ever had a direct affect on whether or not I was on time for a flight...
...Morri apparently hit some nasty traffic on I-75 trying to get to Atlanta to fly home this afternoon. Being the experienced, professional traveller she is, it tightened her schedule but didn't result in anything worse than a few anxious moments wondering if she was going to make her flight while sitting in a 4-lane parking lot.
She's on her flight on headed home - I'm leaving here shortly to go pick her up.
I'm very excited to see her! It has been a long week.
...tomorrow I'm taking the Jetta in for its first oil change. I'm about 1000 miles ahead of schedule on my lease but I figure with winter coming I'll be using my truck more.
But it's so nice - change the oil once every 10,000 miles and it shant cost me nuthin'. All part of the lease package. Sweet.
After that I think I'm going to do my own maintenance and get to my doctor. This sinus/throat thing has gone on long enough. We'll see what he has to say, besides giving me that look and telling me to stop being stubborn like my father.
Neti pots are amazing for sinus problems. Before I started using one, I would get tonsillitis and/or ear infections every fall, and have a constant stuffy nose the rest of the year. Since I started using it, no tonsillitis, no ear infections, and unless I skip a few days, I can breathe through my nose.
Got'em, thanks. Not sure why I took your bottle of ibuprophen - I have a 900 tablet bottle here...
