Last night was her first gig post quarantine. Went well, she sounded incredible.

The time off did good things for her voice.

Things moving back toward normal. Gigs are getting scheduled. It will be nice to hear her sing again.

So Buffalo makes the news because their cops shove a 75-yr old man who subsequently falls, and suffers a traumatic head injury.

The guy is 75 and looks more frail than a Kansas scarecrow in May. What did you expect would happen?

Now Trump is tweeting that via information he read from a Russian propaganda agency, this whole thing was a setup. Because they believe the 75 yr old man was trying to jam the police radio communications, which are double encrypted, using his cell phone which would never have the technology level to be able to do that.

Take that as you will I guess.

I look at the Video, frame by frame and came to the conclusion, that the old man, failed backward, not because he was pushed, but because some of his friends were video taping the encounter.

People protest being asked to help stop the spread of a pandemic for a short while, dressed like revolutionary cos-players complete with military weapons. Cops show up dressed like Barney Fife and can apparently tolerate all levels of berating and insults without ever losing their cool or needing to resort in violence.

People protest centuries of mistreatment, dehumanization and murder, unarmed. Cops show up dressed like they're going to war, use rubber bullets and tear gas on everyone in range, including certified press recording their actions.... round up, beat up, and violently attack protesters without provocation.

Yeah, no idea why the second protest is necessary.... just can't figure that one out, or recognize the systemic oppression, can you?

It's just the Executive arm of the government. They are meant to instill fear in the people. That's their job.

That's the way our systems are set up, but that's not the way they're supposed to be in a country that once advocated its citizenry has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Words used to lobby for their own freedom at the time.
