Weather changes every day. Dry and mild, damp and cold, now rain and snow mix... of course I'm getting sick.

It's like that here. Supposed to be the hottest part of Australian summer, and it's cold, windy and raining one day, blistering heat the next.

Curling up with a warm blanket and cold showers help a little. :P

Here, it's winter.

And our winters usually start about half-way through Autumn. When actual winter comes, we've already been fighting temperatures below freezing and snow for a month, if not more.

This year we had the least snowy December on record thus far. Temps rarely dipped below 4C for day time highs. Which is warm for this time of year.

But now the shift has begun. Our high today was -2C. Of course they predicted 12-21cm of snow as well... I don't think we got more than 1.

So the vast fluctuations might continue for a while.
