I am fully aware of the need to have a fairly strict amount of control in the forums. I have seen them abused a number of times. However it seems that when a topic a particular Dominar doesnt like regardless of how relative it may be, they simply close it down. I feel this is a direct violation of the general spirit of VR which is the free and open discussion of ideas relating to Vampires and the gothic sub-culture.



I also would like to point out an apparent double-standard with some Dominars. While it is true many Christians do not understand the complexities of these various cultures they should not be singled out and ignored. Yes, I know many here have been "burned" by Christians but to that end so have I and many other open minded, intellegent Christians been ridiculed simply for having faith.



I would ask the powers that be to reconsider their stance which for all accounts and purposes bans Christianity from the debate. Please do not let a few bad apples stand in the way of a truly open on-line society. VR prides itself on ideas and openess, why then does it shun 1/3 of the global population. Or if Christitanity is such an evil, ban for the sake of reason and law all religious discussions.
