It has been a few days since I have stopped by the rave and reviewed the comments left on my journal and other materials that I have left lying around just in case anyone was interested. I apologize; err....wait why do I need to apologize? I have been really busy not working (see earlier rants) and looking for new ways to use all of the time I seem to have on my hands lately. Can you believe how hard it is to find good, decent paying, and legal work? Anyway as I have found that I have at least one person following my insanity I will have to try and make time to get on here and let my own personal brand of hysterical insanity spread out infecting the entire world.
I am going to make a departure from my berating of the government and their callous attitudes to anyone that does not meet their standards of wealth and political prestige and maybe disclose something of the bickering of the demons that are always shouting inside my head.
One good thing about my financial situation is that I have not had a drink in well over a month. This past month though hard has proven that most of my dependence on alcohol has been in my head as I feel better physically than I have since the days of my long gone military service. One unexpected side effect of constant sobriety that I rather enjoy is really vivid dreams and it seems a rather closer and deeper connection with my diety.
In the past it would be nothing for me to kill two to three cases of beer in a weekend (thanks to this warped world we live in) and if I wasn't drinking beer, but rather something quite a bit stronger such as Absinthe or even regular old 80 proof vodka or whiskey then I might even not recall the weekend. It got to a point where I was diving into a bottle or a pile of cans every single night. I was losing my spiritual connections. So in this way I guess I really should thank all the greedy corrupt people in power for this; though I really doubt that they will thank me for I have crawled my way out of the helpless pit of despair that they prefer for all of the masses to be trapped in. It is their own fault though as they are the ones that forced me to get my act together and get out of the bottle. I may enjoy a drink or two in the future but I refuse to get back in that disgusting complacent place. They will just have to deal with me and the consequences; especially if I ever get a following. I must say that this has not turned into what I expected, but I still hope that whoever reads all this stuff that I leave carelessly laying around finds it interesting.....and please don't be afraid to comment or ask questions.
So where is all of this crap going? The lower classes make up probably around 90 to 95 percent of the worlds population and yet we are the ones with the least power. Not such a bad situation when our basic needs and wants are taken care of, but that is not the case. The current crop of rich and privileged have forgotten the lessons of the past. They don't make sure that the masses are at least moderately happy and satisfied. In fact most of them most likely consider us insignificant; nothing more than drones to clean their homes, serve their food and buy their garbage products. I urge them to acquire some common sense before they are forced to accept the reality of the odds: 95 vs. 5. Even us poor ignorant peons can overcome with that kind of odds all we need is one ambitious of the 5 to promise us, believably, a better life and it could spark change. I believe in change, not Obama's change, and unfortunately change does not always occur peacefully or safely. I do not condone violence or disobedience to law....I am merely pointing out that if the privileged want to stay in charge then they should stop ignoring the wants and needs of the masses; without, of course, infringing upon the rights of the masses.
Sorry.....a familiar rant; however I am being forced to obtain a second job because the corrupt and greedy only care about shoveling more and more money into their already full pockets. I am not greedy, but when I can not at $12.00/hr even afford a vehicle or gas to go to work then I must seek other means of financing my work. It is sad when someone can't even afford to work. To make matters worse the second job I am seeking, in this depressed market, could deprive someone else of a job. I mentioned that I make around $12/hr at my job and that is pretty good money if the people I work for would let me work. It is around $5 more than minimum wage and it has taken me years to reach that wage. However at around 10 hours a week this does not cover my bills (notice I said "my bills" as I incurred them and I don't expect anyone else to pay them); in fact this does not even cover the minimum of vehicle, insurance, and gas. If not for the assistance of family I would not have a roof over my head or food to eat. I would not have internet access with which to publish my rants. However at nearly 40 calender years this is humiliating; it seems this country has forgotten it's roots. Average hard working people built this country. The 5% may have made the decisions, but it is the average people who did all the work. Now the people in this country have been brainwashed by the propaganda into believing that the only way to survive is to pay thousands upon thousands of dollars for college educations. It seems we have forgotten that it also takes factory workers, cashiers, electrician, plumbers, farm laborers, etc..... We have been brainwashed into looking down on anyone who doesn't have this fabled peice of paper that says they are smart or qualified. Do not get me wrong-if someone does go through the expense and hard work and dedication they are indeed smart and are neccessary for a lot of things to get done in this country. Lets look though at what this attitude of no one without a college degree is worth anything has done. We now have a shortage of people to take jobs in trucking and manufacturing. Yet people can't find jobs. If not for my poor eyesight I would gladly take a job in trucking and am currently looking for one in manufacturing, but I live in the wrong area and the manufacturing jobs available here all seem to have a long list of people waiting for them. We need more jobs spread more evenly across this great country. Yet what does big business seem to keep doing? They keeps sending jobs and manufacturing out of the country. Is it really beneficial if your customers are working at an inadequate level to buy your products? Why not make a product made here in the USA, pay your employees well (not excessively, but well), sell your product for a fair price and make a decent profit. Big business seems to be extremely short sighted (and I thought I had bad eyesight....LOL---sorry could not resist); caring only about making as much profit as fast as possible with no care for the long term. Rather than make a well built, reliable, reasonably priced product they shove poor quality merchandise made in other countries on us for outrageous prices.
Well my batteries have run down so to speak....i hope to get back on here more often, but with my current situation I can not make any guarantees.
