Glad to see things are turning up for you. Got my unit of blood Wednesday but have yet to try it. Just trying to find the right time to do it. Also, it came in a blood bag so I need to put it into another container as I certainly cannot risk drinking more than a teaspoon at a time.

Well lived through the swimming. The baby did not want to swim so we laid in the shade sleeping.

I am glad you made out ok and glad you were able to keep your need under control. Yeah, I know the horrible effects of the sun. I too get drained and I burn very easily. Thats why I stick to the shade or sit in my car as much as possible. I hope the list of substitutes or the animal blood you ordered will help you with your hunger.

Then again, reading your reply in your last journal entry I guess the person who turned you wasnt a good mentor and pretty much left you out to dry. That to me is just not right in my book.

Yes.. I'm happy I was born this way LOL I don't have to worry about it.. Everything I know I taught myself. I wish I had a Sire when I was first starting out. It would have made things a LOT easier for me. :)

I am sorry I could not be of more help. I am new to this myself. I have only been on VR since January. I have seriously been looking to be turned for about a year. What drove me to this? I don't know. I have been facinated by vampires and vampirism my whole life. Last summer I just had this impulse, this craving to be something more than a mundane human being. I wished to have the strength, the health of a vampire. Coming here I learned that I am an HLV, a human living vampire but I still have the same weaknesses I had before. It seems you have found something closer to what I am looking for.

I hope u find what I have for yourself but hope u have a better mentor then mine that turned me. I have found a mentor on here and she is a great help.

Yes.. Basically you're born this way.. It just takes a Sire to help you with your Awakening. I'm glad that you have come here. You've come to the right place to get help, however, you've got to be VERY careful because you are like prey for some of the sinister HLVs. There are good AND bad just like any other community. So stick with who you know you can trust. ;)

This is why I tell people that they should explore ALL of their options before choosing a mentorship and this includes both of my own mentorships as well. Each mentorship has different topics that they teach. I don't want the wrong idea here to go out about BetseyDarling. She's my friend AND a good mentor. It's just that The Hunger was geared more towards what you wanted to learn. ;)
