The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Weekend has been full of picture taking for me. Saturday was at a Camp Wildcat civil war reenactment of sort. A few men, one woman this year, trek the 6 miles of the original battle by following the trail, with spurts of battle. The call it a retreat and in a way it is what how the battle ended. Think paintball in the woods and add history and you got it. They did a service at the memorial that was very touching. I only took a few pictures as I was in no way willing to march the 6 miles, but still it was fun to watch what I did, these grown men who come together to relive history without the crowds.

Not only did I catch fire from a canon, now from a rifle. :)







The color of the setting sun made a great golden light.

























Then today after I cooked a late brunch for Birdy and I, it was make up time. Now this is what she told me when I asked what look she wanted. She said “Sex Kitten, pin up girl, glam.” Well… I was thinking Marilyn Monroe, Dita Von Teese. Arched eyebrow, liner heavy, lips red. She looked great. See what you think:





















After we spent a few hours doing the makeup, shoot and looking at them on my computer I got this was not the look she had wanted. LOL I turned her sexy kitty into the first lady. Poor thing- she even sat really still as I was putting that liner on her, she dislike a brush close to her eyes. I told her from now on I want a picture of the look you are talking about. She looked at the collection of make up pictures I have on photobucket and showed me what she calls “Sex Kitten, pin up girl, glam look.” We had two totally different ideas for the look it seems.



Now to get another day free to do it. :)

Sis got a glitter brown eyeshadow kit that I beg her to let me try, so when I got home I played a little. :)

Not that taken with them. Nyx glitter set. Flakes badly even with a mixing liquid, color not holding true. I added a MAC pigment in green to get this look. I sent her these picture and she sent back "I hate you bitch. It will never look that good on me." lol As if. She has LOVELY PALE SKIN I would kill for.

The 2nd look from the Lady Gaga video. And my new hair color... I went black baby! lol

Came home and took the time to just play a little with the make up. :) I love those times when I sit, not knowing what I am going to do, just looking at several shades of eyeshadows...and coming up with something.

Hey nice shade and application! :) I love experimenting with different colours and applications of eye-make-up. Sometimes I apply the lighter colour on the inner shade and the darker colour on the outside ensuring they are well mixed together so you don't get too obvious a line.



That has the effect of really opening the eye Ratty :)

Could not sleep this morning, awake at 4:50 am watching the clock. So I got up, grab the camera and went outside...nude. O.o Ok ok- I did throw some clothing on. ;)

Then I went in and did housework and laundry... Yeah- right. I jumped back in bed to warm up and slept 6 hours. :)

Call it the witch in me but a full moon makes me want to spend the night outside with a fire, chanting. This morning I went to work before sunrise so I was able to watch the moon set. And tonight- I had to go out again, drove a hour or so away from town east to watch it rise.
