TV show Dead of Summer. Gave the show a chance, it was like a well written horror book. I don't know if they plan a second season- but it could be made.



Set in the 70's- they could bring one of the three who lived back later in life.



Pick it up again.



Glad I gave it a chance as it moved right along, kept you guessing till the end.

Three days later- no one has noticed it.



I dyed my hair. Not just covering up the gray but changed the color. As in red.



No one has said a word.

Other news....



Nightgame and I have been walking this month at 6:00 a.m. We meet up at a local park, still dark out, and walk some laps. We use to walk at 7:00 a.m. but school started back and she had to be back by 7 to help with her nephew.



So- butt freaking early we walk.



Along the blacktop loop we have been seeing a black shadow in a ditch right beside us. I said Rabbit, she thinks cat. We was sitting, watching the sun coming up, talking when I glanced over in that area and see the animal walking about.



All I got to say is "Pepe Le Pew". LOL



Be fun to see how we handle it in the morning. :D Man it would suck to be sprayed.

Watching Barnwood Builders show on DIY. The show is about the gang building a chapel from old wooden logs in Kentucky. Then also are putting in some stain glass windows they removed from an old abandoned church.



One that I have been in, taken pictures of. :D



How cool is that?

So glad to see they saved the windows, remember thinking when I say them it was a shame to leave them there. But the ones they are taking I think were gone by the time I found the old church, only broken ones kids threw rocks at left.



But either way- so happy they save a part of that old church.

Another week of heat, muggy weather. Come on Fall- get here already!



I want to make stews. And bread. And anything pumpkin.



I want to walk outside and take a deep breath of cold air.



I want to see frost on the grass.



I want to see fog off the ponds.



I want a fire in the fire pit as you watch the moon rise.



I want to grill outside, enjoy sitting on the porch.



I want to dig out my fall clothing, dark colors.



I want to wear a sweater, and jeans again.



I want to see pumpkins, and dried corn.



I want it to be dark by 5:00 pm and dark still at 7:30 am.



I want to walk back into the house in the morning as I realized it is cold outside, to get a jacket.



I want to be able to walk around without huffing and puffing in the heat.



I want... I want.... I want FALL damn it!

Re-watching Fear the Walking Dead in prep for the new show tonight.



Have to say..... 2nd viewing isn't making me like it any better.



Think I miss the 'southern' of Walking Dead. hahaha



Just no kick ass in this group. Hate to think the drug addict is going to be the only one I like.

'Fear' is just bad. Watching it again. It's too weak. I'm not looking forward to season 2.



It's like all the real talent is on 'The Walking Dead'.

Drove the truck about yesterday morning, early in the morning, to just keep it working/ lube.



Have to say I miss driving. Miss shifting gears. Hearing the motor, smell the smoke as it starts....



That I do miss. Driving. On the road before the sun comes up.



Of all of it- that is the one thing I miss. Seeing new places, new people.

No matter how many times I watch it- I just don't understand the deal with Beth's death on the Walking Dead. Why she felt the need to stab the woman cop with the scissors, knowing she wouldn't harm her.



The whole "I get it. I understand now." still leaves me shaking my head.

Anyone else watch the SCFY show Van Helsing? Female twist to the old tale. They showed the first show already and have to say I could get into watching it.



Seems when a vampire bites her- they go back to being human.



And the vampires are cool, the special effects and makeup nice enough. Seems from the first show they have spent some money on the set/ filming.



On the top of the list of new Fall shows to watch.



:)



While I am a big Walking Dead fan- been missing me some vampire action. ;)

I watched it too,and it seems it could be pretty good. I liked the concept. I tried the Winona Earp one,but I couldn't get into that one. I'm hoping Van Helsing will keep my interest.

I liked the Earp one. Reminded me a lot of Buffy, and Firefly with the one liners zingers. :)



Also looking forward to the new Star Trek show for TV.
