Awesome! My published novel was added and approved in to the VR Database. Very excited! If you get a chance, check it out! It's a horror/thriller/vampire/werewolf novel. Though the cover is a bit unique, do not let it fool. This is a very dark book, with violence, sex, and plenty of vamp stomping action!

Ok, looks like I'm shooting for October for my FIRST book signing! First, I have to find and schedule the place (have one place in mind just have to get the official word on whether I can or not).
I'm also hoping to get a dear friend of mine to bring all of his wonderful props, coffins, corpses, skeletons, hearse and whatever else he can bring. Unfortunately, the busiest time of the year for his business is in October, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to schedule him or not. Sure hope so, it would be awesome!

Well, day 2, and we've finally figured out the VR drama that another VR member had with my husband with a little help from somebody higher up in the heiarchy. By the way, thank you ma'am, you know who you are. Not going to post names, just out of respect for VR.
All I have to say is WOW! Give somebody a title, and they think they are God, err, okay, QUEEN VAMP, in this case.

Went to Zia's Records and bought 3 movies, Van Helsing, Bram Stoker's Dracula and An American Werewolf in London.
Also, bought a book, The Encyclopedia of Witches. The book has some other interesting facts in it as well. It had been a while since I'd been in Zia's. I didn't know they carried books now. Hmm, so while I was there, a thought occured to me. Why not ask if they do book signings? So got the corporate phone number and will call them to get more info on it.
So, for those in the Phoenix, AZ area, keep your eyes open. If I can get a book signing set up there, I'll be posting on here to let you know. If I can, I might try to get our friends, Custom Coffin Works, in on the gig. I know Eric and Shanan would LOVE IT!

We're talking over dinner when I tell him about a book scene that popped in my head at spur of the moment. It's a woman who comes back from the dead, crawls into bed with her husband & gets frisky with him. She's not horribly decayed, but she is a bit morbid looking. When he tells her, "No hon, no, that's just wrong." Pat asks, "When did you get this idea?" Me "The other night." Him "What night?" (hmm-Pat has a thing about honesty, so here comes my response) "When I was taking care of you?" The look on his face, PRICELESS!
Kind of bit me later in the ass later though, now he asks me, "Want to get inspired?"

Ok, went to the doctor and she really doesn't want me back into work yet. Was hoping to get back into work this week. This sucks. My work is really going to get behind. But at the same token, I do need to get better. I'm just glad I have a boss that understands and is willing to work with me. Waiting to hear back from him, and see how he wants to work restricted time on the job.

Help...I'm being attacked by an evil cat. As I sit here in my bed, typing away, the cat decides she is going to stalk my toes and run away. Four times now, and every single time, she runs away as if she didn't do anything. Then she comes back and stalks my toes some more.
