We've now been at the hospital for 9 1/2 hours. The pain medication started wearing off, and NB was in major pain. Following another dose into the IV to relieve the pain enough that she could move, they put in an epidural.

Momma's feelin' good. Reeeeal good.

When mine wore off they didn't give me any more :( And then I had to wait for a couple hours for the doctor to get there.

Nightblossom is happily drugged and only semi-conscious. Kyla's heart rate has gotten very, very steady..... the pain meds they gave NB pass the placental wall, so comfortable Nightblossom means stoned baby.

I'm definitely very, very happy for the books I thought to bring and free hospital wifi.

Lmao@stoned baby. My first birth lasted a total of 14 hours and it was a very drugged one because I have a low pain threshold so I was begging for that epidural.

Nightblossom's water broke this morning, she's at the hospital and they're starting to work on inducing labor. I'm most likely going to be a daddy before the day is over. :)
