I have now added a link to my nerd side. You can follow the link to see my library online. Can't take the librarian out of the girl :) Even medievalist librarians can be taught. Only one hour and the codes and I can add a background... I have met someone who makes my heart sing....and now we are engaged! A medieval wedding is being planned for sometime this year. A wedding with swords and alcohol, what could be better. Sometimes things can just be wonderful. Currently going to grad school for a masters in Education. I will hopefully be a high school Physics/Earth Science teacher when all is said and done.
What Vampire Clan Do You Belong To?

You aren't sure where you came from. Perhaps your sire did an embrace and run. Or maybe your sire was an outcast himself. Either way, your powers are unique and really don't belong to any clan...or maybe a little from each. Because you of these circumstances, you aren't really sure where you belong. You tend to wander and do a bit of soul searching in your eternal life. Maybe some day...you have a while after all.
So, that clan rather suits me, the eternal wanderer that I am. I have moved 17 times in 15 years to several continents and think I might have finally found a place to stay at least for a while. So how to describe me.... well dark and different come to mind but that pretty much describes everyone here. So more depth: studious, curious, shy yet outgoing (yes I realize the contradiction). Actually the word that pretty much describes me is contradictions. I majored in medieval history and linguistics, mostly dead languages. Focusing on as my adviser puts it the barbarian cultures. He says my degree should have been barbarian studies not medieval studies. I focus mainly on the Celts and the Norse. I love learning languages, but before you assume, no I am actually terrible at languages. Learning them is rather like beating my head into a wall repeatedly, which I am very good at. I was in the military for 8 years, caused more problems, and fit like a star shaped peg in a square hole. Ok enough letting you in for now. Any questions or comments just message me.

My next goal with this profile is to list more bands but that is an undertaking. I have over 500 cd's, music is a big part of my life. Another big part is reading. I will read just about anything except romance novels. I am currently reading Terry Prachett and several nonfiction books about stone circles and prehistoric Ireland. I am also reading about the black death. My dogs (Shown below) are the loves of my life. I also really like turtles. There is also a special someone that makes me happier with each passing day.
I admire honesty in people. Tell me what you think or feel as long as it is honest. Nothing you can say will hurt my feelings or shock me. I don't believe that you have to be rude to be honest. If you are rude to me I will just ignore you and go about my life. If you rate me under 5 I would appreciate a reason. If you don't want to give me one that's fine, no skin off my back.
I enjoyed studying in Wales a few summers ago, and also in England. I do a variety of LARP's and tabletop games as I find them a great way to destress and be creative. I design jewerly and sell wooden swords and crossbows at ren faires. I am slowly adding to my book collection much to my boyfriends dismay. They fill quite a large area.
Oh and I also have a zombie movie fetish. I love watching them no matter how terrible they are. I have gotten to be a lead zombie in one called "Antebellum". Very low budget but a lot of fun and my character gets her head cut off with a scythe.
I got to fulfill one of my lifetime goals also last summer by visiting England and Ireland. Next goal is Egypt.
One of my favorite places in the UK is Newgrange Megalithic Passage Tomb.

Miniver Cheevy
Miniver Cheevy, child of scorn,
