Our sweet, rescued former racer, Twizzler, crossed the rainbow bridge on Friday. We found out while we were on vacation three weeks ago that he had a cancerous mass on his spleen. Unfortunately, it had metastasized and spread to some of his other organs. Within the three weeks we had been home from vacation, it had attacked his gallbladder. We knew we were coming up on a hard decision, we just didn't realize it would be so soon. We love you Twizzy. You had a rough life until you came home to us. It was still tough because you came with treatment-resistant hookworm and had to have double the amount of medication in order to cure you. You are so loved.
