You have got to read this its brilliant and we will be doing all of these
things................ REVENGE ON THE TELEMARKETER
Three Little Words That Work!!
(1) The three little words: 'Hold On, Please...'
Saying this, while putting down your phone and walking off (instead of
hanging-up immediately) would make each telemarketing call so much more
time-consuming that boiler room sales would grind to a halt.
Then when you eventually hear BT's 'beep-beep-beep' tone, you know it's
time to go back and hang up your handset....you have efficiently completed
your task.
These three little words could help eliminate telephone soliciting. (2) Do
you ever get those annoying phone calls with no one on the other end?
This is a telemarketing technique where a machine makes phone calls and
record’s the time of day when a person answers the phone.
This technique is then used to determine the best time of day for a 'real'
salesperson to call back and get someone at home.
What you can do after answering: If you notice there is no one there, is to
immediately start hitting your # button on the phone, 6 or 7 times, as
quickly as possible. This confuses the machine that dialled the call and it
kicks your number out of their system. Gosh, what a shame not to have your
name in their system any longer!!!
(3) When you get those 'pre-approved' letters in the mail for everything
from credit cards to 2nd mortgages and similar type junk, do not throw away
the return envelope.
Most of these come with postage-prepaid return envelopes, right?
It costs them more than the regular postage 'IF' and when they are
returned. It costs them nothing if you throw them away! In that case, why
not get rid of some of your other junk mail and put it in these cool
little, postage-prepaid return envelopes.
Send an advert for your local chimney sweeper to American Express... they
might need one!
Send a pizza coupon to HSBC... in case their canteen packs up. You get the
idea.
If you didn't get anything else that day, then just send them back their
blank application form.... after all, it is their form!
If you want to remain anonymous, just make sure your name isn't on
anything you return.
You can even send the envelope back empty if you want to just to keep them
guessing! It still costs them, and it is their envelope after all? you are
just returning it!!!!
The banks and credit card companies are currently getting a lot of their
own junk back in the post, but folks....we need to OVERWHELM them, in order
to stop them.
Let's let them know what it's like to get lots of junk mail, and best of
all they're paying for it...Twice!
Let's help keep Royal Mail busy. Since the Royal Mail is saying that
e-mail is cutting into their business profits, let's help them so they will
not need to increase postage costs again. You get the idea!
If enough people follow these tips, it will work ---- maybe you'll get
very little junk mail anymore.

My Son while getting changed has caused me to almost wet my pants!!
Standing naked and holding on to his scrotum he asked
“Daddy why do I have two round balls in here?” “Look daddy, do you have them...bet you don't!”
Before I could answer he then said “why is it when I squeeze them it feels funny...it hurts me daddy!” He then started to chuckle when he saw me holding in my laughter....
I attempted to explain what they were and their role in making a family when he then said “I like playing with them!”
If only he knew!!

Got to work tonight...not looking forward to it.
Still sacrifices have to be made when one has children......
I wanted to go to college then University, but we are unable to afford for just one of us to work. Also the children are too young at the moment to walk home from school and need to mature more.....less said about being mature the better lol!
Pre school and after school clubs for twins costs around £1000 pounds a month, so it is to much for us to pay!
When they do get older, then I can work days again...yipee! I will have to work nights for at least another five years...Bah!
Going to be saving all the spare pennies now so I can pay for my own NVQ...got to take 2, 3, and then number 4 which is Degree level. I have been told that they take about a year each. My NVQ 2 is due to start next August, if I can speed it up I will lol! The first one is free, well the company I work for will pay for it!

Thank you all so much for your rates....It is nice when one gets a good comment and rate. I enjoy looking at all the different profiles and portfolios. Remember a portfolio can be of any picture as long as it's within VR guidelines!

People can judge not just on appearances but also on spelling and grammar
I know that I can be a little harsh when I rate. I don't ever go below a 5 unless it's a suspended profile. Then it's an automatic 1
If anyone needs a spell check or grammar check on there profile then I will assist. I am not saying it will be perfect, it will be about 99% ish lol
I have been doing this to peoples profiles for a while now and it gives me pleasure that I am able to help. Very little have been offended by this action....some have lol and been rather rude ^ ^

I have been away from the Rave since September the 9th 2009.
First I shivered then I shook, after the first week I became withdrawn. Cancer should really put a public health warning before people join this site as a disclaimer!....he may of already done this. Do it Cancer, or I will take you to court! Or have you? lol (Did I mention self harm?)
That's right I joined the Rave young (ish).....ummm..and easily led, Cancer made me join his site. He promised me riches beyond my wildest imagination...., I could be anything I wanted as long as I played the game...I could be a Master.... as long as I interacted, as long as I followed the rules...as long as I conformed.
After the second week away it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, however the Rave has been on my mind all the while that I have been away. Like an old girlfriend who one is madly in love with, but is unable to....dare I say HAVE! I don't mean that like a possession (shit yes I do)...lol
I have thought of all the people who I have written to. All the comments I have made, I have reflected on everything bad and good.
It's been really very hard for me to stay away. In a strange perverted way, I love and miss all you WANKERS!
It had to be done because of a court case which needed a lot of input and because if I had been on line nothing would of got done.
Part of this had been dealt with this year, however it still was unresolved due to serious breaches in Heath and Safety.
I am in court in 2010 concerning a previous job and the injury that happened to me in 2005 and 2007...... bla bla bla.
This has been going on now for a number of years and I really had to knuckle down and get the facts (just the facts) sorted out.
Most of the hard work with statements and counter statements are now done.
That's why I am BACK. I now feel that I can return even if it is for a few hours a week....Dam stats!
I don't want to know how much they have fallen....to be honest guys I was really worried about this. My wife said I was being silly, pathetic, stupid and sad! *dam that hurt, coughs* she don't mix her words.
Did I beat the addiction, well I am back here, so there is your answer!
As a therapist I can say that addictions never go away, they are just controlled. It's up to the individual as to how they use that control!
I still have not logged properly in yet (not put the password in) and have just logged into my profile so I can hear my music, I actually feel a little scared, dam it!
Got to press that button and put the the password in....
2 hours later I find that I am lurking again still not logged in just looking......dam it, here I go!
