I noticed a recent poll asking this question:

Do you wish that you could post comments for pictures in the portfolio?

HELL NO!! What are we trying to make this place into myspace? We already did journal comments, just as they have blogs on journals. Do we have to copy all Tom's BAD ideas. I never liked blog comments, that's why I have rarely ever blogged there. I'm trying my best to keep an open mind with journal comments, but my gut still says it's the same damn thing.

I want to express myself here, the freedom to do that, okay minus the nipples, can't be stirring Joli's nervous up. lol I didn't come here because I wanted to know what people thought about my opinions or anything I had to say. I just enjoyed being able to say whatever without hearing what everyone thought. I've had my experiences with journal comments here & on myspace. That shit doesn't do anything but stir drama. If we have to be so much like myspace, couldn't we at least have the option of only allowing comments from people on your friend's list or something. Hell at least that would cut down some of those ridiculously huge friends list. I mean seriously, are ya really friends & talk to that many people here? People who talk to groups in that large a number are usually standing at a podium, getting paid or standing on a corner, getting paid. wtf

Okay time to play with BooBoo & (special) ED

Personally I'd like the idea of being able to comment on individual pictures. Hell, I mentioned it in my journal a couple weeks back - presumably where the poll-starter got the idea! But I do know that some people wouldn't like it, so perhaps an option to turn it off, like bites, would keep everyone happy?

Yeah makes sense if they would add an option to turn off half the new features we didn't like, it would be helpful & there would be less drama stirring all the time..lol However drama brings more people and eventually a little bit of money. Maybe the aim is to stir drama.

My throat hurts today. My own fault for eating food with tomato in it. errr

My nephew was down this weekend. He'll go home today before I get off work. I would have loved to see him. Maybe next time. He doesn't normally come down on Friday, but he did this week. I could have seen him then, but was unaware of it until today. I know exactly why I was not told. Some people in my family are so greedy.

My grandmother (dad's mom) fusses if she only gets 4 hrs with him. She gets mad if they take him to see my other grandmother (mom's mom). My dad's mom is healthy, capable of playing with him. My mom's mother isn't. She can talk to him, & such, but she is feebler. My dad's mom will actually say " I don't know why you have to take him to see her, she can't do anything with him, I can, and that takes away from my time with him." Every time I hear those comments, I want to ask her " Are You fucking kidding me? What is wrong with you?"
