I really need to redo my profile, but I’m seriously procrastinating. I’m not sure I’ll change the background though. I took the picture, done no editing, & I personally kind of like it still. Work is letting go of 10 more people today. I so wish I was one of them. We have a meeting with the insurance guy on Monday. Maybe we can get things worked out so I can go ahead & quit. I have an Orthodontist appointment on Tuesday. I haven’t been to see them in years, not really looking forward to it either.
So I got a tip from the IT department to stay off vampirerave. Apparently when I’m on it, it links to another site that is considered porn. So while I’m supposed to be working, it looks like I’m checking out the porn sites. So the IT guy asked me am I the only one using VR. Well yeah, I reckon, not certain. You never know who could actually be on there saying they are from somewhere else. Apparently VR had more hits than facebook did hospital wide. Huh? What, is that really possible? Maybe VR’s security stuff makes it look that way. However if it makes it look like I’m porn surfin, then it must not be that secure. Facebook don’t do that way…Oh well I guess no more VR at work. It was interesting while it lasted. Not sure how much I will be able to get on here now.
I work at a hospital switchboard. I just can't seem to understand what some of these folks are thinking when they call. I just got a call requesting the number to "City Hall". Now why in the world would you expect the hospital switchboard operator to be your personal 411? Folks is just crazy. All day long it's like that. They want the number to the gas company, bi-lo, sherriff department. Seriously people it takes less energy to press 411 than to dial all those numbers to call the hospital. One thing this job has taught, how to be rude politely.
We got our first power bill at the new location. $1745.30 WHAT!?!? We don't even have water hooked up yet. All we have on is one light & the refrigerator. So we called the power company & are awaiting a return call. I hope they get things straightened out soon.

Utility companies are the debil!

ya wow thats insane lol
Woke up with a headache. I hate when that happens. Baby has 7 teeth now. In the past 30 days she has gotten in 5. Poor thing, she is trying to be so good about it. She is such a good natured child. Has a temper tho. She doesn't get mad often, but when she does it's like she goes from zero to eighty in a few secs. Right now she's a bit of a mama's girl. I know that will probably change, but I wish it wouldn't.
Work is a bit busy today. The weather is nice out. To bad I'm stuck in the office.
My cousin had a kidney & pancreas transplant. She has not been doing very well. She still hasn't quite come around since the surgey. It's been about a week and a half. The surgeons went back in yesterday morning. They found some infection around the pancreas & cleaned it up. They are hoping they can get her better now that they know what is wrong. Still they want give false hope, still listing her in critical condition stating that she will have to spend at least 2 more weeks in ICU. I guess it's pretty much just a waiting game.

My younger daughter is the same way, only about a month older and has the same number of teeth too.
Finally my camaro is painted. Started sanding it, then found out I was prego & had to stop. Baby is 8months now & it's finally done. Picked out the painted & had a friend do it. Only seen cell pics so far, but it looks great. Hopefully going to pick it up tomorrow. Then it's time to get flow masters. So ready to get it done & drive it. Maybe soon we'll be done enough to take it to car shows. Really not hoping to win anything just be good enough to enter.
So we traded our truck for 2 trucks that are a few years older. One is automatic & one is a stick. I had decided if we had an automatic I would try it. It's cheaper for me to run one than to pay someone to run it. Which is what we normally do. I doubt I will drive it often, but I'm trying to learn. I drove it about 30 miles the 1st day we got it, then hubby broke down the other night, so I loaded up the baby & we went to tow a car. I'm sure we looked a bit strange. A chick & a baby driving down the road in a rollback. It's not so bad. I know I can do it when/if I'm needed to, & that's the main thing.
Just had my 4 year anniversary on vr a few days ago. Didn't even notice. Even told someone happy 2 year yesterday & still I didn't realize.
Head hurts..
Damn last piece of gum....

Hmmm... you should start a reposession company... in this economy, you could have a booming business.
We have a contract with one of the local smaller credit unions. Most places have been dealing with someone for years & don't want to switch companies. I don't want to drive the truck on those jobs though. It's a bit sad, but the economy has made business pick up.
CU's are a great place to start though. Do a good job for them, get some positive word of mouth going and you never know where it can lead.
