Do you ever stop to wonder why you are here? Not in any cosmic, philosophical sense, but what were the circumstances of your conception? Were your parents drunk or high and just got busy because they were in the mood? Or did your parents try diligently to conceive a child for years and years, duteously copulating according to a optimal schedule? Was it a hatefuck? The thing that I've noticed as I've gotten older is how things haven't really changed with people. Yeah, we have more toys and diversions these days, but the way we interact with each other largely hasn't. Men and women both have used sex and the promise of offspring as a weapon to club each other over the heads with since the beginning. What makes us think our parents were any different?
