MBK got his first hate mail. I'm so proud!
There I am, just enjoying an ice cold glass of sweet milk, when my very close 'friend', says;
"Oh my God! Are you drinking bovine lactate!?"
At which point, I am no longer enjoying my nice, cold, and once tasty, glass of milk...
COMMENTS
You should be more selective in choosing "friends." That's shocking, mate.
The appropriate retaliation is to grill up a nice, fat, juicy slab of steak.
Oh, I think that a spicy Indian curry will suffice, just after I send over some pictures of spring-born lambs gambling their life away to me.
>:)
So, um...inquiring minds want to know...did ya finish up the bovine lactate?
Well, no.
:P
Its Like The People Who Don't Smoke Saying To You
"Ya Know Smoking Gives Ya Cancer Right?"
My answer......."Yeap And I Would Rather Be Happy Then Miserable And Sexless"
Said friend of yours also put a real kink in my enjoyment of a delicious BBQ pork sammich by mentioning that "pigs are locked up together and go insane. They even bite each other, and pigs just dont do that!" =(
gahaha!
or how about when you are eating soemthing sweet and someone tells you: that is fattening, or when I am enjoying my blue caracao (an alcoholic drink) and people say: ew how can you drink that?
Argh >:(
If the vegetarians weren't there I bet we wouldn't enjoy our meat this much.
Those damned vegetarians.
On a similar note...if people get really bad maladies, like cancer or even just the snot-productive varieties like flu, do you ever visualize those illnesses in the meat? Like, especially the rare meat? I mean, do you think they check the animals that thoroughly before butchering them? And even if it does cook enough or is species-specific so you won't get ill, does the idea of eating a a steak of a cow with something mild, like a yeast infection or maybe early renal disease kinda gross you out? I wonder if we could look at it under a microscope after it's cooked, like a cow autopsy, would we be able to find traces of the disease in the sliced morsel?
Lol at Joli, if we examine everything we eat, I think we won't eat anything. We'd loose our apetite lol.
I just tell vegetarians that I like them because they smell like food.
And then sniff them. Loudly.
They usually leave me to my meat after that. =)
I just finished watching the new Indiana Jones movie, and I think that sucking big fat donkey balls would have been a more interesting way to spend two hours of my life.
The storyline could have been lifted directly from some of the nonsense we get in the forum. The acting was wooden, with one dimensional characters and no emotional resonance. The script was dire, the action plodding, the Russians as believable as Mel Gibson's Scottish accent, and Harrison Ford has developed a posh twang and a slight slur in his old age as well.
About the only good thing about it, was the homage to the previous trilogy.
I'm sure kids will love it though, and the crazy loons that believe in this particular fantasy.
COMMENTS
Well bad, then?
I had a blast watching it. :) Took not one word seriously and enjoyed the references to the past movies, the idiocy of the cold war here in the US and the return of Mary from the first movie, whom had more umph than Indy did at times I admit. lol
Come on admit it there's been much worse.
*ps I ignore the crazy crystal skull threads* Sorry you didn't have as much fun.
Thank you STABB. Your review only confirms what I have heard from the reviewers on teh radio here.
Now I can safely ignore the desire to go see this.
Hmm, what to do? I am a fan of the old Indiana Jones movies and I have been looking forward to a new one for sometime (I first heard of this a couple years ago but they were holding out for someone...). On the other hand, if it's as bad as you say, I don't want to ruin my enjoyment of the series. *sighs*
I took the first part of the W2K3 server practice exam...and failed with a miserable 47% on an 80% pass mark.
I have lots of reading to do. I have to pass the whole thing in ten weeks. I have a snazzy self learning video and resource pack though. Just finding the time is going to be a problem.

Aw, c'mon. Active Directory is FUN! I'm sure you'll have no issues once you've gotten a bit of study time in.
I do like AD, but it was the Terminal Services that got me. The bit that wasn't covered in the course material I went through...
Really useful.
Yep, that terminal thingy is a bitch *grins*
Sorry to hear you failed. I hope for you that you will pass the next. Good luck.
Being one of the few people I have ever met from online, and VR, it was a really cool evening.
I'm grateful for the time, and the salty beer...
A very lovely young lady, who's taller than I expected.
Thank you, very much, for coming to meet with me.
:)

Glad you got to meet her :) I heard she was tall :P
We played WoW together, and are looking forward to more fun in Azuremyst!
Not taller than you I hope? That's not possible! Look at that Avatar!!
Nah, I am The Tallest!

Where's my snacks?
DB is a fine upstanding young woman and I am sure, after another seven years or so, will make an excellent doctor.
Knowing few is the operative word...you are just an infectious person to meet with!
DB Rocks.
Tini and I played a drum version of "Washout" on her ass in Phonix. She was a good sport. Heh.
Woman's a stellar person, she is.
I'm extremely pleased with the new Coven music, generously and excellently produced by LS (LiquidSaint).
I spent a decade in clubs and this is one of the better, more atmospheric sounding tracks I've heard. I reckon it's worth developing further and at least into a white label.
The genre is one that hits me in the deepest reaches of the soul. Evolving largely out of EBM and the early Gothic rock scene, the mix of sampled orchestral with techno beats, has been a great influence on the acid and sci trance that I spent many nights dancing to, eyes closed and body under the control of the music.
As years went by, the BPM went up and the sounds became more complex and dirtier, harder and darker. I like it like that. (I wish I still had my copy of Shadows and Light mix, which managed to incorporate a chainsaw to great effect. I was there the night they recorded it, after LAB4 pulled out of a gig and we ended in the dodgiest place in the city with a makeshift setup. Turned out to be an awesome night. Snowboarding down a Pyrenees mountainside with it on headphones was like a dream. Anyway, I digress...)
One of the pioneers and masters of this sound was, and is, Anna-Varney Cantodea. There are few who can match her sorrowful and occult themes. I would shed my blood to have such a person as member of the Coven. I am sure that she has much more important things to do though.
As it is, I can't begin to show my appreciation. A mark seems paltry. My thanks are all I have.
Thank you.
A couple of videos that I know some people will find amusing.

Sevenn's after my job!
Coming over here, closing threads...
Next, she'll be approving polls, then where will we be!?
I ask you, where will we be!?
That's right, we'll be relegated to reviewing articles! We'll be redundant!
Soon, we'll have to scrape a living on Acolyte questions. What kind of work is that for a Dominar!?
No work at all, I say!
Stand up now fellow Dominars, raise your banners and your voices in unison!
Say it ain't right! Take back your pride!
What do we want!?
Forum moderation!
When do we want it!?
Now!
(or at a suitable time, depending upon circumstance and requirements)

Yay...up the workers lmao
Rally the troops and attack!
Yes indeed, all of you should rally around Stabb's big, purple crayon... Except you Meeper.
You should all form a ring around Stabb's big, purple crayon and dance around it like a fully erect maypole...chanting, laughing, perhaps the occasional melancholy tear, draping it with garlands of flowers and beautiful pieces if fabric...dance I say.
I say.
Er. Yes. That would be lovely. Please, hold hands and start to sing.
I see purple Crayon and I think of that story Harold and the Purple Crayon....
I can imagine you both drawing something with the big purple crayon thats big and bad
Looks at the large pole and the purple crayon and runs off scared that Barney is on viagra
Oh no our job is in danger!
Is your job in danger from me? ummm...not so much...

You have a very talented eye for pictures.
Thank you for sharing the photographs.
Love the church pictures but the coast and the woods are my favorite ones.
:)
Great eye.
Some beautiful pics.
Wow,those are great.Good eye.

I really love Colorado. Really really. But these pictures help me realize there's so much beauty that isn't here. Wow.
Silverbow is quite awesome, in many ways.
Though I don't now this lady very well, I do know that she has a heart of pure sunshine.

She is a true light. I've known her for years and her selflessness grows daily. She continually humbles me and makes me remember how blessed I am to know truly good people in this world. I'd take a bullet for Silverbow.
I am, simply put, honored to be mentioned in your Journal Stabb. I am not sure what I have done but thank you.
Dr. J, No bullets!!!!! That would hurt and I would never wish to be the cause of any pain for you, not ever. You are a precious, and cherished, soul to me.
LadyC, :hugs: :) You are doing just fine darling, remember that.
Now at 203lbs and an almost total vegetarian diet.
I made the tastiest Mexican vege-mince in a tortilla last night. Home made salsa and a cool honey, cream and chive sauce.
Add a bit of flavoured rice and it was too filling to finish.
Tomorrow night is a curry, probably Tikka Massala sauce over marinated Quorn pieces. I like curry. Yum yum.
