Scott and I got new phones in February because, and I quote "Telus will no longer be supporting the phone you currently use due to the fact that it's mode is out of date".

Really....

But, cool thing is we can now text each other without hocking the house, so the fact that he is working nights and I work days is alittle more bearable. It sucks when the only time you can see the man you love is on weekends.

Our 8th anniversary is May 13. We both are working. But we have both scheduled off extra days for the long weekend in August, and it's back to Victoria for more touristy stuff, ghost walks, and sun (with hopefully cooler temps).

The man never fails to amaze me....

I read this as "Scott and I got new photos..." I was getting mad that I hadn't seen them yet. LOL!

Easter weekend

Scott and I spent the Easter long weekend on Vancouver island, in Victoria. We had so much fun, just walking around, doing the touristy things that he had done, and was taking great pleasure in showing me. Miniature world, Royal Museum, ghost walk tours Friday and Saturday. Dinner at the Japanese steakhouse just around the corner from the hotel, and drinks in the hotel bar where we just talked and talked. It sucks when I have to work from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and he is working from 4 pm to midnight. Makes the weekends very precious for us. But Kate at the ghost walk tour and Amber at the bar definitely made it a memorable weekend for us. And we definitely needed it.

I hate my job. This is so not me. When you get up in the morning and think "I just need to make it to lunch" and then after lunch think " I just need to make it to 4:30". This is not me.
