In a warehouse on the streets of England a girl is screaming as she watched her dad kill her mother. Her dad is trying to kill her but something stops him. In Angelique’s eyes she saw an angel, no. A group of angels gathered around something dead on the floor. They had golden eyes and pale skin.



“I honestly think that I should turn her into a vampire,” Raven said.

“But Raven think about this you can’t just decide that you want to turn her just because you feel sorry for her,” Pandora explained.

“But I did think about this, I want her to join us, we can give her a second chance at life, even if she will be a vampire.”

“I think that Raven should definitely turn her into a Vampire, Raven’s always made good decisions when it comes to her visions and she saw her as one of us so just get over it and deal,” Salem said proud.

“Oh seriously just because she found you in her vision you think they are a good thing,” Cameo smugly rebutted.

A loud scream vibrated through the warehouse against the metal walls.

“Ok that’s it this is my decision!” Raven yelled annoyed at her family for arguing. Raven was thinking of how she found Salem and her family. “Pandora look, you and Cameo always want to look after this family but, I really believe that this is something I get to decide not you guys.”

“Yes exactly I have always looked out for what is best for this family. I don’t think having anymore family members is a safe idea, someone could find out about us.”

“There are so many of us we can handle a newborn, and if it gets to hard we will just...kill her.”

“You know you won’t be able to, it’s because of you Raven that we only drink animal blood even then it’s hard for you. You will end up protecting her,” Another scream echoed in the warehouse, “Would someone shut that girl up?”

“I would not! Not if it is to protect my family!”

“Well babe, no offence, but you probably would,” Salem whispered sadly. Salem gave Raven a hug then walked off to go to the girl on the floor that wouldn’t stop screaming. Salem was talking the girl on the floor. “What’s your name?” Salem asked. The girl screamed again before answering…

“My name…. is…Angelique,” Angelique cried in pain.

“Raven please just bite her already,” Salem sighed in frustration.

Raven walked over in one second she was talking to Pandora, then leaning over the girl with a sad smile on her face for what she was about to do. Pandora and Cameo felt they didn’t want to see this so they just walked out of the warehouse, Salem stayed to comfort Raven in the act. Slowly Raven lent down over the top of the half dead girl Angelique and whispered. “What I am about to do may hurt a little but it will be over soon… I’m sorry.”

Raven gleamed her teeth at Angelique as her fangs extended. Raven bent her head slowly down; she turned her head sideways listening to the pulse of her blood running through Angelique’s veins. Raven whispered softly in her ear “I’m sorry.” Then as she got closer Angelique screamed in pain one more time before Raven bit down on her neck sucking the blood out of her. It was just gulp after gulp of blood washing into Raven’s mouth. Salem was worried that Raven wouldn’t stop so he grabbed her shoulders and pulled her away from Angelique.

Blood was dripping out of her mouth and on to the cold hard metal floor. The blood was trickling out of Angelique’s neck, Raven couldn’t help herself she thrashed against Salem’s hold but he wouldn’t let go. It was silent then as the last thuds of Angelique’s heart faded. Raven turned into Salem horrified at what she had just done to the poor little 15 year old girl. Salem looked up just as Angelique opened her eyes they were deep red and when she smiled her fangs shined in like the moon. Raven turned around to see what she had done and then was shocked as she saw Angelique; Raven thought she looked like an angel. Salem just whispered to Raven, “She isn’t as beautiful as you.”

Just then Pandora walked in with Cameo, “Raven I guess you were right we can handle a newborn.”

Raven smiled at Pandora. “Come on I’ll tell you more about what you are,” Raven spoke clearly as if Angelique wouldn’t understand and held her hand out to help her up. Then Salem took Raven’s hand and they walked out of the warehouse to talk more about what Angelique had become and the Family she would be a part of.
