Ok, like I may have stated to some of you, we only use 4% of our brain everyday, if that much.

So what powers would we be capable of if we used say...15%? Or 30%?

I wouldn't say it's too fantastic to believe that one would be capable of telepathic communication. I believe the brain is perfectly capable of this, and probably much more. It's just we have forgotten how to do this! Many years ago in Egypt, humongous objects were moved, objects that weighed thousands of tons...now even with simple machines and thousands of slaves, how is this possible?! I think that we knew some higher form of brain usage...such as now, we "think". Humans were born naturally with the power to have private thoughts inside themselves....

If you don't see where I'm getting, think of this. When you first learn to play piano, you fiddle around with the keys a bit, but you don't know what you're doing. After about 7 years of training, you can probably play any music piece near perfect the first or second time through. This is the same kind of thought we may have lost way back when. We may have had the ability passed down from higher generations that were lost somehow.

If we could somehow tap into this energy, think of the possibilities. Only a truly righteous mind would be able to do it, one without the concern of mortal values or desires. A higher state of conciousness, so to speak; Nirvana...

It's a weird idea, but it's still an awesome one.

Doing great!

03:42 Dec 31 2005
Times Read: 571

So far I've been doing great! It's fucking awesome when you have a list of like 1,000 goals to get done and you finish early. There's so much free time it's ridiculous. So I'm just chilling out, checking on peoples' websites (yeah, I have like 50 admin friends) and talking to people on VR. I'm having a great time here, and I'm just sooo happy everything is back to normal...oh if you didn't know, I've been busy because I procrastinated just a TINY bit...but that small bit through everything off balance. So everybody out there reading this - NEVER put off until tomorrow what you can finish TODAY! Take those words seriously...unless you have no life. :P

Things in General

13:05 Dec 29 2005
Times Read: 573

Everything is going great so far! My website has gotten popular enough with so many great Moderators it can pretty much run itself (meaning less work for me on that, so I can get more of my Virginia Tech work done) and everything that needed updating has been updated. All I need to do now is work around the house, such as cleaning up my room and getting everything a bit more organized. Then I'll be ready to go back to school and easily be able to get my work done at night.

The Mark of Master Vampire ElderDaniel

Times Read: 578

Yup, I got the mark soon after I became the Rector of the Hall of Games!

I was very surprised at this...but I'm also overjoyed. This morning I was at 10% through with Level 7, now I'm at 98%. Oh yeah, that's another weird thing I noticed...I'm having numbers that don't end in zero now... :P

Level 7 Spook, and other things...

07:04 Dec 28 2005
Times Read: 583

I've leveled up to a Spook today...

Also I've been asked to become a Rector for some kind of gaming hall inside of the House of Lunazure, which was quite a surprise - and honor.

Today has been a good day, even without those two important changes...I went outside a lot and just felt better today altogether. Being outside felt good, walking around felt good...it was just weird, it felt as if nothing could go wrong. And no, I wasn't high, lol...I don't do drugs.

It must have been one of those "spiritual highs" as so they can sometimes call them. Well it's 1:03 AM here, so I'd better go to bed pretty soon...goodnight, (or good morning rather) VR.

Time

18:30 Dec 27 2005
Times Read: 585

Has anybody ever noticed how one can manipulate time? Some of the most obvious things many people think of are the popular, "Time flies when you're having fun." or "If you're waiting for something, it takes longer for it to come." I take these literally. Time is somehow mysteriously connected to the brain, and definetly motion, as Einstein agreed. I can think, "I'll make it through (something), and I'll be looking back on this moment and laughing or reminiscing." And of course, eventually the time comes, and I'm looking back at it right now as I type. That's how I usually get through every problem or time in my life. Just think to yourself, eventually this will be over; whether it be death or natural time that is doomed to follow. It works...I'm living proof, in my mind at least. I can bypass the "time barrier" by thinking of time itself, and thinking about what I'll be doing once this is over...

It seems I have too much time to waste, though. That's why I've been reading books on stuff I might need to know later in life, because I realize my life has its end at some point in time. My first thought on the matter was that being mortal sucks, then I realized something. What would life be like if we lived forever? It would take all of the joy out of life. You wouldn't do you best, realizing you could do it better tomorrow, and humanity would be bored and lost. Us having a mortal life and ultimately accepting that helps us do our best at the moment, and realize how and when this will affect us in the future. Simply knowing our life will end around the age of 70 (some live longer, I know...but that's the average life span of humans in America at least.) helps us be better and make the world better by us being here and convincing other people otherwise. Of course I'm talking to the open-minded ones, the ones who can actually understand what I'm getting across right now and the ones who are ready to do whatever it takes to save this pitiful race. Those are few.

(This is old, I originally wrote this when I was around 14.)

Mozilla Firefox/Internet Explorer

14:56 Dec 27 2005
Times Read: 595

Both are excellent; both save cookies pretty good...but here's what I think...

I use both of the browsers. Internet Explorer is the most popular browser, so naturally a lot of people use it to design their web pages. On the other hand, when Mozilla Firefox is used to view those same pages, sometimes the codes just don't work out.

What I do is this: For sites that I don't visit often, I use Internet Explorer. For sites I visit frequently, I (usually) use Mozilla Firefox, because it can bring up the page quite a bit faster than IE. Mozilla is a bit slower on bringing up images, but when it does bring them up it saves them, so the page is a LOT faster to view again. Also, it seems that the page that is set to Mozilla's home page comes up almost instantly.

I use Internet Explorer when googling images or working for Virginia Tech, since their website doesn't support Mozilla all that well in the databases.

If you like using both of them but don't like viewing the "Internet Explorer/Mozilla Firefox is not currently set as your default browser, blah blah blah", then there is an option in the browsers that prevents them from asking that. I just set Mozilla as default, and use IE when I don't know really what I'm looking for.

I've read some articles posted by Cancer on many different topics...

That's the kind of stuff I like reading about. Not many books you find out there talk about things like that, in the way he describes them. If he has any books out, I need the title of them because I need to get them NOW, LoL.

Although many of his thoughts are similar to thoughts of great Kabbalists...maybe I'll pick up some more Kabbalah books and read them. I'll read those during that huge break I have called "school".

Updates...

05:12 Dec 27 2005
Times Read: 600

Well, I'm about 25% though with the Logo Contest entry, but it's not looking as I visualized it, obviously. If only I could clearly draw my thoughts on paper...I'd win this contest for sure.

These past days I've been up at 5:30...I've decided to start back exercising early in the morning. After that I'll take a hot shower and eat some breakfast, then I'll get to work around 8:00 A.M.

On Photoshop I've learned how to make some pretty neat things; I just learned tonight how to make a cool tech signature with a chrome medallion in the middle. It's pretty awesome! There are a couple of aspects I haven't memorized yet, but when I do I'll be able to make the whole sig completely from memory! >-)

I can also use this same technique for my website...the header I could make all techno-like, it would look pretty cool.

Pixel2Life.com is the best site to go as far as tutorials are concerned. The have a tutorial for everything anybody would need; C++ programming, Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Terragen, Microsoft Works, HTML, PHP, you name it. I recommend going there if you want to learn how to do something unique.

Well I'm about to take a bath, then maybe do a couple more tutorials and hit the hay. Goodnight VampireRave, see ya tomorrow at 5:30... :P

Workload Diminishing

23:48 Dec 25 2005
Times Read: 602

Today I cleared out nearly all of the non-profit work I do, such as my website work or cleaning up my computer, etc. I cleaned, defragmented, and cleared viruses off of my computer, I cleaned up my forums online, designed a new page for www.clanrp.net, and learned loads more of things to do on Adobe Photoshop. I haven't got around to loading it on my portfolio just yet, but I'll get right on it. Once I do this, I'll be all ready for a full day of work tomorrow, 8 hours preferably. :D

Work, again.

22:33 Dec 23 2005
Times Read: 604

I'm having a pretty good work life. Today I woke up at 5:30 A.M., and decided I loved the free time I had until 8, when I started working. Work flew by fast, and before I knew it I had accumulated 3 hours worth. So I've decided - I'll be waking up at 5:30 every day for the rest of the break. I can get a lot of work done that way, and I have PLENTY of time. :D

I can't wait until my paycheck comes! ^^

Cancer's Reply

12:36 Dec 23 2005
Times Read: 606

I sent Cancer a message regarding the Logo Contest, and the size of the canvas. I got a reply saying it needed to be (at minimum) 20-24 inches wide or high. Ouch...I didn't realize it needed to be that big...I'm still going with my original plan though...I'm going to sketch out just the creatures and such, and then draw them and distort them as such on a 20 by 20 inch canvas on Adobe Photoshop CS2...I don't have much time away from work and my other websites, but I'll try to do my best whenever I have free time.

Logo Contest

04:14 Dec 23 2005
Times Read: 607

I have an awesome idea for the logo contest! It starts out by sketching the logos on paper, in different positions...then I'll scan them onto my computer, and add special glowing effects and color blending effects...I'll make lines more distinct and make it look really good using Photoshop. ^^

It'll be a long, hard process...but if I win, it'll be worth it!

The House of Lunazure

Hehehe, only about 12 hours after being Caitiff, I was accepted into the House of Lunazure. Right now I'm working on the Logo Contest...I want to see how good of a job I can actually do. It'll be awhile before I'm done...it would suck if I completed it as soon as a winner was chosen, lol.

I can't wait until I'm level 5...I'm 60% through with Lever 3: Shadow right now, and I see my sister right beside me playing games to earn favors for houses...I really want to play the tic tac toe one, I just helped her win one against this guy, lol...

I would like to be in the same house as her as well, not because I look up to her or anything, lol...just because I hear artistic people are in that house...

Well it's Midnight here, time for my Rituals! Just kidding, actually I'm off to bed...

G'night Vampire Rave...until tomorrow!

Money

23:38 Dec 20 2005
Times Read: 624

I'm going to start trying to earn a lot of money...I really want to do something fun and creative that can produce a profit...I'm not sure what yet...I'll probably get a good site started and put ads on it, that way I can get a small amount of the money. I have a job, but if I could have something like that producing money while I am working or sleeping, that would be great...I need to get started on that right now.
