Last night was truly a bad night for me. I was nice enough to help friends move again which resulted in me almost dying. I was picking up clothes to pack up and put in the car, I took one step and the floor collapsed where I stepped! I managed to excape with minor scratches and some bruising all on my left leg and that was it. I'm sure if I fell completely I would've died. The lady who owns the house was pissed that it happened, which I don't blame her since I would've been too. She told my friend if I fell she wouldn't have cared. I told him she would if I fell and bleed to death. She threatened to file charges against me, but I turned the tables and threatened to sue her and her landlord, then she backed down. It turns out that having other people to pay you to live in their house under the landlord's nose is illegal, so she's afraid of me suing. They also had knowledge of the soft spots on the floor upstairs and didn't tell anyone that they had them. The whole upstairs needs new flooring. All in all I'm alive and was shooken up a bit but I'm fine now. I went to the bar and drank it off later on

Oh wow! I am SO flipping glad that your were not more seriously injured or worse! Letting a house like that sounds like it should be condemned must be an offence, so good for you standing your ground Jenn! And how dare they talk to you like that when you were only an innocent to the condition of the house, and more importantly the injured party!
