I took the kid to the library for an event, and I found a big score of classic horror movies for the husband. I love checking out the discard section for treasures. I hope he enjoys them. I'll have to watch some with him, as I haven't seen most of them. I did throw Misery into the mix for myself, along with The Lost Boys. It's time to activate spooky season. 🖤

I'm over the heat. We've had over 55 days this year of over 110°. My car said 118 the other day when I went to pick the kid up from school. Also, I've been driving around with no AC in the car for a month now. So I absolutely roast for that hour I'm in the car getting the kid and bringing her home. My sister sent me pictures of leaves changing colors where she is, and somehow managed to refrain from sending her a picture of my middle finger in response. It must be nice to have more seasons than this is tolerable, and Satan's asshole. I vaguely remember what that was like. I need to fuck off out of this shithole of a desert, sooner rather than later.
In other news. I did find a body butter that smells absolutely delicious. I need to go pick some more up because I slather myself in it head to toe every night. There's just something so relaxing about climbing into bed smelling like a goddamn dessert.
