It's actually a beach along the river, we have a ton here, lots of sand.

I'm sure it is real. I have several of her signed materials (books and bookplates) as well as books from her personal library (with notes she's written inside) that I bought from a site she directed her fans to buy from. It's her handwriting.

Very nifty...I've had that happen with used books too. Always a nice surprise!

Thanks for the info Images, how awesome to have her personal notes, I would love to have something like that. Anne Rice is a superb writer and one of my favorites.
