Resident of planet Earth
A creature of myth and legend
A piece of clay in need of work
I am a dream of all things possible
A promise unfulfilled
A product of my environment
An image of the commonness of man
I am a flag waving patriot
Yet a critic of government
A lover of history
But learning from none
I am a simple person
Of very complicated mind
A happy and loving person
Paranoid to a sickly degree
I am a logical person
Often swayed by absurdity
I follow a path seldom taken
Dropping breadcrumbs in my wake
I am a painting left unfinished
A crushed tube of paint
A creature of pain and pity
An enemy to be made
I am a blank page to be filled
With a broken pencil lead
Kin to friends and family
Statistician of the dead
I am a far sighted person
Wearing lenses for nearsightedness
