The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Heading off tomorrow afternoon for Florida for a week with family at Disneyworld. Half of me is looking forward to it while half of me wants to scream Oh heavens NO!



Anyway I'm sure we'll have a good time, we're stopping in Southern GA Friday night then when we cross into FL Saturday morning we'll head over and hit the A1A and drive down the coast until we find a nice spot to play on the beach a few minutes then we'll head on over to Orlando.



Funny we always break up the trip down there into a couple of days but when our final day arrives, I throw them all in the car and head home just as fast as I can drive. In our 3 previous trips there I've always driving straight through back home and I've no doubt I'll do the same this trip. Something about getting back home makes it worth the pain.



Luckily VW is going to take care of the cats for us as she's a good friend *yes that is kissing ass*



Anyway I'll have my laptop with me so I'm planning on checking in here whenever I get a moment free.

We'll be going today to UK Children's Hosp in Lexington to have my nephew's heart checked out. His new doctor hit the roof when she found out he was on some very strong medicines (autism/adhd) and had never had one done. So today we're getting it done then I expect she'll change most if not all of his current medicines which are not working all that well anyway. She wants us to call her the minute we leave the med center so she can get on the phone and get the results right away.



We really like her, she's a retired Air Force Colonel and very strict but she seems very involved in his health and well being.

Fingers are crossed that his heart is okay. I hope she straightens him out and puts on meds that will help. Always nice to find a advocate in your doctor.

Yeah thank's everyone for the good thoughts, he's doing great, nothing wrong but a faster than normal heart rate but since he was pretty scared that was understandable. Now back to the new local doc to see what's next.
