The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

- Ouch I got another blister from yesterdays hike. Looks like I need some new inserts for my Reebok's as I wore a hole in them. The shoes themselves still got some use in them though as I tend to get my money's worth out of anything I invest in. Yeah yesterday was the last quarter moon so got some pictures. I hope to be consistent and get each quarter when I can and put each one on a collage ending with the full moon which next month will be the worm blood moon about a week before the equinox. Getting pictures during these events as precise as I can get them like military drill is what I want to do then put them in my portfolio showcase. When the next month comes along I can just put them in the upload section with a new showcase featured. I should eventually get a portfolio I can rate a 10 by my standards. Just haven't perfected it yet.

Portfolios have always been harder for me to rate because people put their pictures there and think you are rating their looks. This isn't the case for me. I strive to rate anything objectively on its presentation. So the portfolio is the place for photography and art to me as you can upload many more there than the ten in your profile section. It will be my endeavor to update it periodically with new showcases. Not just my pictures of nature and my hunting activities as a vampire but artwork I like and do myself and of course starting it with some featured music that sets the mood. We'll see as things don't always go according to plan. I don't like how people have had the same material since like 20 years ago. I know many are trying to sell the vampire mythos of being frozen in time but damn there is no way I can do that as I'm a human living vampire and subject to change. It is only the perception of the astral and elemental plane that that appears timeless from my vantage of it. But because I have a finite number of brain cells at any given moment to see eternity and the vast reaches of the never-ending cosmos it is merely an illusion in my relation to it to my understanding. Everything is in a state of change even matter which is how carbon dating works. Relative to our human experience and lifespan it may seem unchanging but still it is changing with new things and decay. Well that's what I've observed when I see nature. I guess most are just not there in understanding it yet. So the legend of the vampire in the human mind is conceived out of naivety. Everything dies and as much as those that have much to lose with happy lives there are also those that suffer and have little to lose that death is a mercy. It may be a cathartic experience to entertain an eternal unchanging existence but I think if those truly conceive such notions as an awakening as a vampire they will not entertain such thoughts for long. Praying for death to set them free. I'm personally on the fence as I tend to see the pros and cons of this undead state on consciousness and like a scale with something new added there is a period of oscillation between the two extremes before it balances. I see justice in such spans of many lifetimes too. Some uppity ignorant people think its all in the span of one life with Gods justice at the end of it. There is a sublimating power in such viewpoints but like how the suns rays bouncing off the moisture in the sky blocks out the starry sky so too is there a period of consciouness that only see that. I think they are in for a rude awakening when it comes to what is awaiting them in their afterlife. LOL

Been checking out Deviant Art of late looking for better graphics to share. I've actually had an account there for years but didn't use it. The Ai creation aspect is amazing but makes a part of me cringe inside. I'm a bit of an old school artist myself and seeing a person just type in a few key words then having the AI create something for you just seems to devalue art created by people the old fashioned way. Still some of the works look great as I appreciate beauty where I see it no matter the means. So will probably buy some to share on my portfolio among my own inferior but real work. Every once in a while I might post to the Stream but not too often as it seems to devalue it to those posts done on a routine basis to me.

I'm getting to the point where I'm just going to create my own little niche here with my own society and put my focus there. It's really a frontier I haven't done yet on this site. But I want to make mine exclusive to my referrals then provide for them in a society. It will be up to me to keep their interest and develop referral points then which seems like the proper dynamic to use to level up that bonus. As far as The Top category that one seems the most important to my understanding of the vampire. The others are prone to too much corruption. I'm mean if you go around giving every one tens then you tend to get the same in return and the same goes for other bonuses but that defeats the purpose to me. I rate on performance as I see it and that doesn't bode well to most. Likewise for those who add as friends and favor journals to get the like in return. May look good to level one up but seems deceptive to me. Same is true with many who build referrals from alternate profiles or people on the site already. Not how I want to play the game. I want my work to have real value not some empty veneer others see. I see lots of empty husks on this site and probably why its in the state its in compared to the way it was.

So I now have internet tools like You Tube, Bandcamp, Shutterstock, and now Devian Art. Most of those alone can be good ways to network with others but then it takes away from my time here which I've been trying to make home base on the internet. Apart from that I tend to spend a lot of time in meditation and shadow work where I commune with beings that put the physical realm to shame. Their energy is just so sublime and our interactions are powerful But too much of a good thing makes it bad. So I have to slum it up here with the regular folk like fasting something makes it more powerful. Yes I said up here because I tend to work in the underworld.

I'm actually surprised I'm making this entry public. Not like too many come to my journals anyway. I tend to diminish my presence rather than stand out... usually. Most seem to be tit for tat people as mentioned above and I keep my circles small so I can give them more of my time and energy. Not one to blow smoke up people's asses and pretend I'm interested in them when I'm not. Though I think most seem to act that way. I crave depth and am not satisfied with small talk other than a polite greeting. Going to work on my writing skills and just ordered the book The Elements of Style by Strunk to help. A couple others on Dark Psychology and the Vampire subculture. I'd like to build my library back up. Sometimes I go live off the grid and have lost lots of property doing it. But I'm getting old and not prone to such activities anymore unless its an emergency as I still keep a go-bag packed. There's always exceptions to rules in my experience. ;)
