So, let's see...

Had bronchitis that resulted in very low oxygen intake and scary shit (see former entry for that info).

Went to Boston.

Mom's surgery was postponed three times due to possible blockages in the heart and carotid artery.

She was cleared for surgery on 11/2 and is healing well.

Flew back to Texas just before her surgery due to issues that needed to be immediately addressed at home, cutting my stay short and my brother flew out in my absence.

Both kids ended up with RSV three days apart, directly after Halloween.

Spent two weeks of dealing with that- RSV has thick, scary mucus that toddlers have a very hard time coughing up so that was a nightmare.

Got sick from either the RSV or a nasty cold- husband also got sick but cleared up quickly.

Ended up chipping/breaking a molar while stress grinding in my sleep and had a minor tooth infection (broke tooth all the way down to the root) so called my doctor to be placed on an antibiotic to stop it while it was starting- bad fucking move.

Had a severe allergic reaction to the antibiotic and ended up in the Emergency Room due to swelling and hives/welts spreading rather quickly up and down my face and throat. Then started breaking out across my chest and back. Ten days of antibiotics, five of a steroid for the swelling, three for the antihistamine. Just finished the steroids today, five more days of antibiotics.

Have to re-home my pig because the county rezoned and we are no longer considered the "outskirts" of the town but within it. So now we have to follow city zoning laws... Can't have her but can have up to 30 chickens, two lambs, and two goats (make that make sense, please!). We have had her for a year with absolutely NO issues, concerns, or problems. Even the animal control guy was like... I'm sorry. You can tell she is well loved and cared for. I've never seen a pig walk up to a person, get ear rubs and then just flop on her side for belly rubs and pass out snoring. (No shit... She is the royal swine of this household. Spoiled rotten. ♥ )

Found a family who lives in the farming part of the county who has tons of acres and is willing to adopt my girl as long as we visit her from time to time (which if they allow, I would definitely do it often) so at least the worry about her being used for meat isn't an issue. Plus she will have other pigs to play with.

We have a new kitten named Rosie. She is black and white and about three months old. She is vocal and sleeps next to me every night. When I'm sitting (as I am now) she sits perched on my shoulder and rests her head on mine. It's an odd feeling knowing I can't turn my head to quickly least I toss her by accident. lol

Second death scare this year. Nice try universe...

Yesterday was fun.

I could have died, again, because why not throw that into the mix again?

I had an allergic reaction to amoxicillin that started off as just some swelling that ended up causing more swelling and an itchy throat.

By the time I made it to the ER my entire right side of my face was swollen, almost to the point of my eye closing. By the time they realized it was also an allergic reaction it was moving down my throat. Heh. On top of that I had hives and what felt like welts forming on my chest and back.

They were able to counter the reaction and get some of the swelling down with Prednisone and Benadryl, thankfully.

So, new round of different antibiotics, five days of Prednisone, three of Benadryl and hopefully it'll clear up the infection without killing me. :)

Yay for having kids. I wasn't allergic to amoxicillin prior to having my daughter in 2019... But my body is now.

Regardless of what rumors or stories are pushed about upper admin, let me be firm and clear on this:

Do not try and play as if you can manipulate or convince upper admin to change a situation for you, when you were warned numerous times to stop before the permanent suspension was put in place.

I was present when it occured.

Perhaps you forgot that, too.

"Can you fix my suspension? I really didn't mean to be an arsehole; it just happened naturally." "Can you make xyz member be nice to me?" "Nekirena, why can't you fix all of my life's woes?" LOL. I am sure that you have heard it all. I think we should make a "best excuses" thread. :-) In my 21 years of family law, I think I heard just about everything as well. So many reasons why they could not stop using drugs and get custody of their children back... and why it was all my fault. Boy, I do not miss that. I have not heard a good excuse in months!

Even when you can't see me, I am still here. Mwuahaha

Well, that was a trip.

I'm back, but not visibly on.

Lots went on, lots occurred, lots still left to do.

Mom's surgery was postponed three times but finally occurred on November 2nd.

She is healing well, so far.

My brother flew down when I flew back, so she's not alone.

I'll talk more about shit when I'm not so drained.

Both kids are sick, which has been hell since this past weekend.

Fun times.
