Ha! I was cooking all day. Juanita text me, asking what channel I was watching parade on. I was stuffing devil eggs. Then she text if watching dog show. I was peeling 10 lbs potatoes. She sent back " so you aren't watching any TV?" I sat in a kitchen, hot, 😓, dirty dishes, stove and oven full as I made my family, and enough for her and her hubby to have for two or three days....looking at the phone going....bitch, I will cut you.... :)

We actually know the family that was involved in the NY - Canada bridge accident yesterday. It's just horrific. I won't go into detail for obvious privacy reasons but we do know that it was not a terrorist attack, there was no conspiracy, they were American citizens from a loving family on their way to a concert in Canada. When their children heard that there was an explosion at the border, they tried to contact them about it and that is the way they learned the horrific truth.

So, people, fellow humans are in deep shock and grief right now.


So, that's as much clarity as I'm willing to provide to the public (internet) and on the heels of that I would like to say that experiencing the true Fake News engine that is GOP mouth pieces on this specific incident has been infuriating and eye opening. I mean, I always knew these people were full of shit but to hear them make broad statements about Biden's "Open borders" or a "second vehicle" that police are trying to track down (horse shit.) or an Iranian passport (Because that's what happens, we launch terrorist attacks but make sure to bring our passports and leave them where they'll be found).

I can't even keep up with all of the hot takes these fucking mouth breathers waste ZERO time slinging with absolutely no accountability. If you are following someone who spread a conspiracy theory about this incident, please hit yourself in the face with a brick, seriously, do us all a favor.

I'm scanning family photos as this has been a project I've been meaning to do for ages and now that I'm under the weather it's the perfect task to take on. This reminds me of being a Procurator. Scan, label, sort into folders and select which ones need to be fixed.
Put on some chill music and this is a meditative practice. Nice!

Quite bummed out. We were supposed to go to visit my family this weekend but I've come down with a cold so we have to postpone. I was hoping to not be doing any driving once snow hit but oh well, roll with the punches and pack the blankets...

Get well! I have found that most people I know (here in the south that is) have come down with a cold or allergies! Of course Mother Nature forgot her hormones again and is having hot and cold flashes like a crazy bitch! We had 30's last week mid 80's this week!

Also, weird I know, but they say to pack a candle. Apparently, the heat from a candle can keep you alive if stranded in the snow/ice. Hopefully, you will never have to find that out! Sorry you are feeling like poo and I hope you feel better soon!
