Okay...here's how it happened...11/11/2023...3am...I'm bored and YouTube surfing when I come across a channel called..."Deadly Wives"...I watch a few episodes...I've suspected for a very long time that I'd never marry again, just not in the cards...now...I'm absolutely sure I'm never getting married again...HOLY SHIT!!

So...last night I decorated the picture window in my castle by surrounding it with little white Christmas lights...yes...festive and in good taste.

After numerous trips up and down off a chair...after snipping off appropriate size strips of black duct tape for securing this line of holiday good will...after judging and rejudging hanging loops of slack, and with an enthusiastic Ho Ho Ho, I deemed my project finished and retired to enjoy my new feel good atmosphere...that was short lived...

From prone on the couch I noticed on the right side of the window those joyful lights hung down maybe 3 inches longer than those on the left...sure...the loops were magnificent, I've never looped better, but those uneven sides...when I looked at the decoration, that's all I could see...

Well...for the last 24 hours I thought I would be able to live with it...I mean...it's only 3 inches...it only means the right side is a little more Christmasy than the left...eventually I won't even notice it all...and it's the festive effort that counts, right?! It's all Christmas!

WRONG! It's been driving me crazy since last night...every time I looked, that unevenness is all I could see.

It's corrected...I can now have some peaceful interior joy...
