The moon rose over the big mansion high up on the grassy hill, a woman walked slowly towards the big wooden doors of the mansion her long black hair falling down past her shoulders her piercing blue eyes taking everything in as she used the knocker on the door. As she turned around to examine the view the door slowly creaked open and a voice echoed from inside, “Come In to my home Miss White”. Catherine White was a woman with a great deal of sound judgement, there was a nagging voice in the back of her head but she went inside the house anyway.
Sitting in the study was Nikolai Redthorn. A distinguished gentleman – he has light blonde hair, deep ocean blue eyes he is very tall about 6ft5 and is very well built- what most people might not notice about him is that he has two very well developed canine teeth, he is a vampire.
Catherine walked into Nikolai’s study and smiled warmly at him as Nikolai motioned to a black leather chair, “Please Miss White, sit down and make yourself comfortable”. Catherine sat down in the chair and said to Nikolai, “Thank you for letting me come and see you at such short notice Mr Redthorn. I’m sure our readers will be very interested in what you have to say” Nikolai smiled warmly at her his teeth being exposed for a split second but Catherine shakes it off thinking she is just imagining things.
Catherine got out her notepad and a pen letting her hair fall down as she looked at Nikolai and said “Well Mr Redthorn I think the first question is: What made you choose to come back to your family home?” Nikolai leaned back in his chair and put his hands together thinking for a few moments before saying, “Well I suppose I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and come back to this place where there are so many memories for me”.
Catherine nodded her head as she wrote down what Nikolai said “So how long has this house been in your family then Mr Redthorn?” Nikolai thought about this for a few moments before responding, “This house has been in my family for over 9 generations. In the main hall there is a picture of my great great-great grandfather from when he owned this place”.
