I think we have come up with a middle name for baby now. We are thinking about Tyler Nicolas. I think it has a nice flow to it.
I hope that everyone has a safe and wonderful New Years Eve tonight.
Alex was so excited when we told him about his baby brother that is on the way. He had a million questions. He said he si so excited now be a big brother and can't wait to do things with his brother. At first he was like are you joking mom ? Then he got to see the ultra sound and he was even more excited. He said I will share my room with my brother. and now I have someone to watch over. I knew he was going to be excited. He has his own idea for names as well. He likes the name Kheenan. I am one very happy person right now .

Tomarrow I go to see the prenatal specialist at the Univercity of Tennessee in Knoxville. maybe we will get a better view of baby tomarrow. Baby has had the hiccups tonight, it is such a funny feeling.
The last few days have found me upset and happy at the same time. My son Alex had a wonderful Christmas, even though his father didn't even bother to call and talk to him or even send him anything for Christmas. We got him a PS2 with a few games and a few smaller presents that he will very much enjoy.
At this point I think Alex has finally realized just what his father is made of. Lies and disappointments. It has been almost a 100 days since he has actually seen him
and almost a month since he talked to him last and that was only to tell him that he was shutting off his cell phone. Never a call to see how he is doing or that he misses him. But as time has passed Alex has come to see where he stands with his father.

It's unbelievable how some people do not take responsibility for the children they bring into the world. My nephew did the same..he has a beautiful daughter but yet never bothers with her nor contributes to the expenses raising a child can bring. I don't know why.. But such people, men and woman included.. who dont face up to their parental obligations should have their baby making parts sterilised.
This is one of my favorite movies of the season. It is a tradition to watch this every Christmas Eve.
Happy Holidays to everyone !

Got the last of my shopping done today and all the gifts are already wrapped. Igot the monkey bread made and am working on peanut butter cookies with hershy kisses and then a batch of home made brownies.
I don't kow about you other ladies but when people want to touch my belly to see if they can feel the baby kick its feels very strange to me.
Close friends and family is one thing but when strangers try to do it, it freaks me out a bit.
I crave oranges/orange juice all the time and the perfect meal has been corn chex with sliced bananas and a splash of milk. The smell of hamburger is just so gross to me.
I recieved a card from Heidi the other day, it was beautiful. Got one from my friend in NY and from my parents today with a outback steak house gift certificate and a walmart card. Alex sent a cute black and pink wallet with a big pink R on it and some lip gloss and warm fuzzy socks. I can never have to many of them lol
Well I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.
27 weeks as of today. I really wondering if i am going to make it to my due date as baby is already low.
Going to go get a memory foam body pillow tomarrow, so I can sleep and be comfy.
Next week we travel to knoxville to see the High Risk Pregnancy doctor. Where we will be havinga 3d ultra sound.

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm no.
If I had ever had another girl her name was going to be Lily after my great grandmother. Her name was actually spelled Lillie, but I liked the spelling of the flower better.
If I had had another boy, he would have been named Jeremiah or Liam, or even Lachlan. I seem to love those Gaelic names. We had a tradition I started. My kids got completely Celtic names.
Some nice names there.. I like Tyler, my niece is called that :)
thank you Yes Tyler is my first pick =}
The baby is due on my birthday, name the little one after me! :P
10 weeks and counting. At the end of the 10 weeks our family will be plus one. We are expecting our baby on March 24th 2011. Baby is doing well. Seems to be playing a game of soccer at the moment.
I am very excited and have been very excited. I was told I would never be able to concieve ever again. My son is 14 so there will be a huge gap in ages, but that is ok. My sister and I are 14 years apart as well.
We are going to be looking for a 3 or 4 bedroom sometime next year. SO that ALex will have his own room as all we have is a 2 bedroom right now.
My son has asked for a brother or sister fro years. I told him it was probably never going to happen. But everything happens for a reason.
Had the initial appointment today. We were there aboiut 5 hours today. First a shot to calm me and hurry up and wait wait wait to get the last step of the torture done. Initially it was just supposed to be of my L1 and S1. But after further testing and imaging it was found that from my S1 up to my L5 are done. They are going to do the lumbar injections two more times over the next 4 weeks.
I knew it was going to hurt. I just didn't think it was going to hurt as bad as it did. But atleast at this point we know how far it has spread across my back and out to my hip joints.
They put me on some pain meds and muscle relaxers. And a tens unit and a back brace has been ordered. I can barely walk at this point. And trying to find a comfortable way to sleep tonight seems to be eluding me.
By tomarrow my back will be very black and blue. I can still feel where the injections went in. I just hope that after this is all said and done that I will be bale to walk with out pain and have more mobility.

I hope so too hun. I had a friend that used a tens unit she said it worked magic, hope it does for you too.
So it is the First of Decemeber. Where the hell did November go.
Finally I got to go and talk with the new doctors about a new plan of action. I got there at 9:16 this morning and I didn't walk out of his offer until well after 2:30 this afternoon.
I start this new injections in a week, but they have to put me under to do them. That makes me a bit nervous. They are also fitting me for a brace and giving me a tens unit. It will be 6 appointments of 3 injections each time every two weeks. He said they want me to contune getting the infusions at the Regional Cancer Center.
He also wants me to continue taking the anti inflamatory drugs as well. The plan is that after 6 weeks of this I will have another mri and see where we are at. Because at this point it is spread out to my hips. The right more then the left.
My friend asked me how I can be dealing with all this shit and still be cheerful. It's simply - if I let it, it will consume me and I don't want to go back down that road again. Someone who I introduced to VR willknow what I mean about those days.
I am just going to hope that this works and that if after 3 months I won't have to have surgery. Because that really scares me.
By the way my dear Buttercup thank you for the chats the last while. It helps to upkeep the spirits.
