I have updated the DarkNetwork Profile Help Page.

It is back to the Flash Menu format that people liked before. I have gone through the Main forum threads and collected the other codes that were posted by members and Cancer and added them to the help page.

I have also created a House/Coven page menu, to give you the basic codes to help you start off a coven page.

Hope people enjoy it and it is easier to use. Tell me what you think

Please understand, this is personal opionion and in no way is a bash on the Administration

Concerning the webcams, like so many others, I can only see bad things coming from this.

Its great for a adult site, but as for the minors on the site. Think of it like this: First, Minors were being messaged. Then, chat rooms open up. Now, you are going to have webcams.

I know both kinds of minors that are on here. Those that are innocently trying to make their way in this life and just feel that there is a dark side to themselves. The others that thrive on drama, rebellion and doing what they can to get noticed, even if it is negatively.

Either way, webcams open up a whole new frontier. Will the webcams be logged, so if there is a X-rated display, it can be caught? With messages, we could forward the content of the messages to the administration if it was inappropriate. With chat rooms, you could send the log, to the administration, if it was inappropriate. When we flag a webcam that is inappropriate, does it begin recording, or is it the he said she said game.

Just so people know....

TERMS

All Vampire Rave Terms of Service and DMCA policies apply to webcams. This page has been put together in order to emphasize specific areas of importance.

Do not broadcast nudity, pornography, or any lewd behavior.

Do not broadcast copyrighted material.

Vampire Rave has zero tolerance for breaking these rules. If you break this site's terms of service, your account will be suspended without warning, your access blocked, your ISP will be notified, and the proper authorities will be notified.

You can help Vampire Rave maintain the integrity of its webcams by flagging inappropriate broadcasts. The flag link is at the base of all webcam pages.

What about the strain this might cause on the admins, chasing down someone that is just going to all the webcams and flagging them for no reason. I worry about the minors, that won't know how to handle a situation. Most don't know how to handle it with words, how do they handle it in the "flesh" so to speak.

See what I mean. I pity whoever is going to be charged with keeping an eye on webcams, to make sure that nobody abuses them. All I can do is wish them Good luck!

Remember that this is a personal opinion.

We were just talking about that with Images. And the flag tab can be flagged by anyone and then it goes into a cue, and a screen shot is taken atleast that is my understanding after having talked to Images.

As, we all know there is going to be someone who is going to push the limits to see what they can get away with.

Good points... However, Cancer and the Admins aren't these kids parents.

You don't have to be a minor to break this rule and do something lewd and crude on a webcam. I think these are excellent points and I can see more drama coming, on top of what VR already has.

From what I have seen, Cancer has covered himself pretty well should anything occur. I plan to let defeated1 use and view this feature but I will also be supervising. I have no doubt that my boy will report anything he sees amiss.

We can't protect them from everything especially the ones that look for trouble but I think we can all work togethor to see that the ToS is maintained.

Mom is in for a visit, after not seeing her for over 3 years. She hasn't been here 3 days and she is already painting my Dining Room. We went to get a safer ladder for her to be on yesterday, she bought the paint and she is off and running. We found a safe ladder, that has bigger wider steps and what we call an OMG bar, that she can hold onto as she paints. I will be home, anytime she is on it. I learned a long time ago, that if you forbid her to be on a ladder or not to do something, she will just wait until you leave the house to do it.

Thing you have to understand. Although my Mother walks with a cane, due to the Multiple Sclerosis, Mom likes to remodel, likes to paint. Trouble is, she can only do it freely at my house, because everyone else is too protective of her. They won't let her paint, won't let her hammer, won't let her up on a ladder. Don't get me wrong, I love my Mom, but I understand her need to be independent and to be able to point at something and say, "Look what I did."

With MS, your independence is stolen away bit by bit. So, I understood when I offered to fly her out....and she said, as long as I can paint something. She has already earmarked the other projects to do in the house, including molding, painting the rest of the house and fixing my kitchen floor.

Well, the good thing about this, is this will give her something to look forward too. She will plan, look at sales, discuss options, up til we bring her back again. Plus, bonus is she gets to know LordV and I get time with my best friend.

Not sure what to title this, but it came to me the other day....when I was asked by the MS Foundation and when I made the decision to open a support group for Multiple Sclerosis in my area. If you have a title, please help me out.

Have you ever walked down a path that had no end

That never showed you the light around the bend

The faster that you walked, the more desolute it seemed

You were all alone, or so you believed

Then you felt a hand on your shoulder, gripping you tight

You whirl around and stare into the night

"Come Back", you yell, "I'm frightened you see."

But nothing is there and all you want to do is flee

You realize that you are not alone, no matter if you feel you are

There are others that suffer as you do, but your symptoms are bizarre

They are invisible for others to see, but horrendous for you to feel

You can't convince your loved ones, that you aren't going to heal

Spasms in your back and legs, that takes your breath away

Nothing that can help it, no matter how much you pray

You wait for the next shoe to drop, as patiently as you can

Knowing that there is nothing you can do, since this first began

Every day, when you wake, you analyze how you feel

Will this be a good day, or a day like a ferris wheel

Will you be able to accomplish everything you want

Or be forced to be nonchalant

You look up and down the path, wondering what it holds

Knowing that you simply have to wait for it to unfold

You feel strong arms come around you from behind

and a whispered deep voice in your ear that says, "You'll be fine."

"I am here for you" it continues, "Til the end of time."

"I will always be here for you, as you continue your climb."

The warmth of those strong arms, eases your pain

So much so that you relax, lean back and drop your cane

"Have hope, my love, for you are not alone."

I look and I see others on the path to the unknown

I understand now, what my purpose is to do

Is to make people understand, through my point of view

Multiple Sclerosis is a debilitating disease of plenty

That, to this day, people are unaware of how many

All I can do, is put the information out there

To save all those from the dark path of despair.

This is just heartbreaking. The poor dog, did so much, not only to survive, but to protect those that helped her and this happens. I screamed at the television last night when this aired.

The story behind this is simple. A troop in Afgan started befriending the dogs in the area, giving them care, food and simply playing with them. Target, got her name from the torture that the Afgan men in the area, that use to target her. She was shot at, hit with a car and still she survived.

One night, a suicide bomber, started to approach the barracks where the soldiers were sleeping. Three dogs, including a pregnant Target, attacked the man and dragged him away from the barracks. The men in the barracks only awoke when the bomb went off, killing one of the 3 dogs. Rufus and Target, were severely injured, but at the insistance of the soldiers, the hospital took them in and saved them.

Target gave birth to her litter and the soldiers cut through all the red tape they had to, to bring Rufus, Target and her puppies to America.

Afghanistan dog hero accidentally euthanized

A dog rescued from Afghanistan after she alerted soldiers to a suicide bomber was accidentally euthanized at an Arizona shelter on Monday.

A Pinal County Animal Care and Control employee has been placed on administrative leave for failing to follow procedures and euthanizing the wrong dog.

The dog, Target, was recently brought over from Afghanistan by a soldier who had returned from his tour of duty. Target was featured by CNN for heroism after saving dozens of soldiers from a suicide bomber on February 11.

"She got her name because the Afghans we lived with were constantly trying to off her. She's been shot in the leg. ... The Afghans actually ran over her," Sgt. Christopher Duke said, who helped care for Target in Afghanistan and has adopted her packmate Rufus. "There's no killing this dog for sure. She's pretty much been through it all, " he said upon their reunion in July in Georgia.

Target's new owner, Army Sgt. Terry Young whose life was saved by the stray, helped bring the 2-ish-year-old from Afghanistan to her new home in Arizona. She disappeared from Young's home on Friday. Facebook postings requested help in finding her.

Target saved U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan

Animal Care and Control received a call about a stray female shepherd-mix dog in the San Tan Valley area on Friday. An animal control officer picked up the dog and brought her to the shelter where the dog stayed over the weekend. The dog was not microchipped or licensed with the county, shelter officials said.

On Monday morning, the employee mistakenly took the dog out of its pen and euthanized it. The dog was not scheduled for euthanasia.

“I am heartsick over this. I had to personally deliver the news to the dog’s owner, and he and his family are understandably distraught,” said Animal Care and Control Director Ruth Stalter. “We work hard get to strays reunited with their owners. When it comes to euthanizing an animal, there are some clear-cut procedures to follow. Based on my preliminary investigation, our employee did not follow those procedures.”

In an e-mail, Young told CNN affiliate KPHO, "I'm an absolute wreck today, and it's everything in my power to hold it together for me and my family. My 4-year-old son just can't understand what is going on with Target and keeps asking me to get the poison out of her and bring her home. They don't want her to go be with God yet."

“An investigation is under way, and we will cooperate fully. We will also thoroughly review procedures to ensure that something like this does not happen again,” Stalter said. “This is unacceptable, and no family should be deprived of their companion because procedures were not followed.”

Target was pregnant when she helped thwart the suicide bomber by attacking him. She had her litter of puppies in Afghanistan. Target's puppies have since been brought to the United States.

WHAT THE FUCK?!!?!?!?! That's bullshit! How do you "accidentally" euthanize and animal? You can't! I've worked in vets offices and you have to go through a ton of shit and quite a few pieces of paper for it to get done. Oh my god this just pisses me off to no end! Gah!

My veteran day thoughts are one of the people I grew up with. I remember growing up with a man, I knew as Mr. Amo. He was a large man, more than 6'5" and over I knew from a young age, that he was in battle in the Navy and it scarred him. When my brother joined the Navy, I found out more about Mr. Amo.

Mr. Amo was one of the few that survived the disaster on the USS Forrestal. In July of 1967, on the USS Forrestal, a zuni rocket misfired, knocking off an external tank on another aircraft. Fuel from the leaking tank caught fire, causing several explosions. The fuel also leaked into a crack on the tarmac, sending burning fuel into the living quarters. It burned for hours, killing 134, injuring 161, destroying 21 aircraft. Howard Amo, was one of the surviving firefighting crewmembers.

My brother, was shown footage of the Forrestal, to be shown what not to do on a vessel fire. There was a piece of footage, showing several people on a hose line, spraying water into the hold. In class, they were called idiots that would sink the ship. My brother happen to recognize one of those on the nozzle. He borrowed the footage and took it to Mr. Amo and asked him, "Tell me what really happen." Mike then invited Mr. Amo to come and speak at his ROTC program, about what really happen.

You see, most munitions on a Naval ship, are stored upright. I believe that once I heard my brother refer to it as "Sherwood Forest". What Mr. Amo was doing, is spraying down, attempting to cool down the red hot bombs, with simply a hose of salt water. He was attempting to save the rest of the ship, his fellow crewmates and his own existance by doing what had to be done.

Several times on different fire scenes, I could see that he was having a difficult time and it would bring back the nightmares and the horror. He eventually had to stop being an interior firefighter, due to becoming Claustrophobic.

The following video, is an investigation to find out what really happen on the USS Forrestal.

This is one of the many heroes that I grew up with. I learned through them about Patriotism and loving your nation and those that defend it.

So, thank you to all the other Howard Amo's out there in the world.

Within the week, I hope to have a new DarkNetwork profile help page up. I had a lot of complaints regarding the navigational boxes and people wanted the flash player back. So it is. Just organizing it.

If you know of any codes you would like to see on it, please send me a note with the code that you prefer. I will try to plug it in.

But first. I'm going to go clean and paint the ceiling, or at least cut in one side of it. I will be working on the Profile Help page when I take breaks. Thanks for all your help.

Romance is not dead!!! I had to drive LordV to work today. He raised the Garage Door and then came back to me, when I came out through the door. He grabbed the front of my jacket, and steered me over to the front of the car, at the front of the garage.

He wrapped his arms around me and then pointed over to the mountains. In the Twilight morning, we could still see the Crescent moon over the mountains. We stood there for about a minute, in our new house, just watching it.

Damn that was nice!!

Scott did that for me- we had a huge full moon one night when I got home from work, and he met me at the top of the stairs, pulled me by the hand into the sun room, and we just stood there, looking out all the windows at that huge moon. He told me he was glad he had a house that was so warm and full of love, and that we could share things like this with each other, and that I did all that for him.

Men are so cool sometimes...lol
