I wish to
Have to
Must
Break out
Speak out
Tear down these
Walls and Cages
Protected only
By smiling guards
Or bitter orderlies
I’m mad
I’m bleeding
Apparently
How will you restrain me
Can you hold me down
Chains?
Ribbons of Affection?
Thorns of your various false religions?
Take your pick
You took all Summer
To shine up your words
Are these supposed to
Impress me?
Try again
These promises
These paper work hopes
More textbook words
Try again
Passion sparked by tears
That we did not feel shedding
From our dry unloved skin.
I wish to speak with you
You remember where
Among scum ponds that
Hollowed out a forest bank.
I’ll sit and skip stones
Not saying it
Not saying what I want to
You
You shall stand
Stand crooked against a straight tree
Your hair will be dusted
By lycan flakes
Whether words are passed
Passed in our secret place
Where you remember where
I don’t knows
Oh turbulent times
Make white roses seem morose
I am a white rose
I shall be Nobody
In this world of Some bodies
Nobody is free
I am truly sad
I have little Summer hands
I can't hold Winter
Recreate my eyes
The Ocean left two puddles
Frozen on my face
Be bop, hip hop, dance
The free times have been reborn
Be bop, sock hop, move
Once upon a time
There was a sad little thing
She was delicate
She was a true doll
She held a bright parasol
Brighter than a smile
Her porcelain smile
Held her blue eyes from falling
A white mask uncracked
If I died.
How many tears would you shed?
Would you count them?
Collect them?
Use them in a potion?
Perhaps you'd stand next to where
The marker stands tall
Because you can't find my body
And just be silent
And sad
No tears required to waste you away.
How long would my memory stand strong within you?
How long could you imagine me clearly
In situations that never happened?
How incomplete was I for you to end me?
