Doesn't sound too bad, even if I had to put a new exhaust part on Gina's car.
Problem #1 - I go to back Gina's car up on the ramps...I open the door so I can look where I'm going...The door hits the rear view mirror on my car and rips it off...Now it's hanging by wires!
Problem #2 - The part I got was wrong. So I return it to the part store and they say they can have the right one in by 3:00pm. (They can also have a new mirror for my car in by tomorrow).
Problem #3 - "Cloudy with a chance of flurries High of 38" Turned into this:
Yeah...About 6" and still snowing!
Oh and the high was 27!
BUT I did get her car back together and purring like a kitten.
But my back hurts and by butt is cold!
Damned TV Weather people have NO CLUE!
Poor Tig passed away last night. He got a lot of love this week so at least he passed knowing he was loved.
Now we just have to pay off the $500.00 vet bill from last weekend.

*Hugs*
Poor Tigger, hope you guys are doing okay.
Poor tigs *sniff*
:( Go with love Tigger.
I am sorry you have lost a beloved pet.
What do you think?

I like them :) I could see Sean Connory wearing them
Don't take this the wrong way but....
*rat gives a sexy growl and fans her face*
Did it just get very hot in here or was that just me?
;)
Me likey too......it even gets a Birdy squawk!!
So...Woke up Saturday and Gina is all upset.
Tigger is not trying to trip her as she is getting the can of cat food open to feed him. She has to clinck the can about 10 times before he shows up. He smells the food about 10 times and won't eat. He won't even eat some turkey breast lunch meat.
He is very lethargic and just sulks away.
So she wakes me up and we take him into the vet to get checked out (as it snows).
We get diverted on a detour on the way to the vet..and pass a Medivac Helicopter waiting for whoever caused the detour.
The vet checks out tig - man and wants to keep him for observation - blood tests and whatever.
Well, it turns out that Ole' tig cant go poo because he has a mass in his adbomen blocking his colon.
He's home now, on steroids to try to shrink the growth some, and laxatives to try to let him poo. Sadly he will not be with us long. Whenever he goes a day without going poo or pee we have to bring him in to be euthenized before he suffers pain from his condition.
Poor tigger.
He is about 13 years old, but has only been with us for about 2 years.
So no big "Fun Weekend". And no big snow either - just an inch or so of snow ice mix.
At least the Eagles won.

:( Sorry to hear about the cat, hope the meds help Bull.
I'm so sorry KC. *hugs* Give Gina hugs for me too.
*big hugs* :(
Awww poor tigs
Chrissy goes back to college tonight.
David went on a ski trip with boy scouts.
We are suposed to get 6 - 8" of snow tomorrow.
What could we possibly do stuck in the house together with no kids?

I'd say paint.. but with the cold and snow you wouldn't want the windows open that long...
Bow chicka bow wow
Enjoy the time with your lovely wife. Hope you two have a wonderfully NON-productive weekend. ;)
If the ground is frozen, you could hire a machine to dig the ground out and put your pond in
Snow angels and sledging also come to mind
Are you sure that Art didn't get your credit cards?! O.o
*Rat covers her eyes just reading the journal*
Bull is getting it on with his wife.....Ewwww....
*runs off to wash her eyes out with soap*
My Holiday time away from work ends.
Back to work bright and early tomorrow morning. I get to see the 100's of emails waiting in my in box, piles of papers in my mailbox and, I quite certain there will be a line of people with questions they could easily answer themselves lined up at the door to my office before I have a chance to log in or get a cup of coffee.
Oh joy!
Birra is always busting on Philly.
Most of the time I can at least say something in defense of The City of Brotherly Love.
However, every New Years Day a Philadelphia tradition is played out that just makes me shake my head...The Mummer's Parade.
WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ABOUT?
A bunch of drunk dudes in dresses playing banjos and saxaphones and dancing up Broad Street for 8 hours. I will never get the attraction to "Dem golden slippers!"
We had a great time at the NYE Dracula's Ball.
Saw the lovely FM who looked amazing in a red corset and black print skirt, on the arm of the tuxedoed vampire, who was smashing in his tux, top hat, white gloves and walking stick.
I think she got turned because Gina reported she was wearing fangs when she left!
We also saw Chiyo who was so full of energy she was rarely in one place long enough to chat much!
Ran into a bunch of our local friends as well and got to catch up on what's been going on in each other's lifes.
I have to say the idea of and "open Bar" while quite economical...(The extra cost to the ticket was only about 1 drink's worth of cost)..just isn't smart. In the several years we've been going to Dracula's balls, we have not seen one person "falling down drunk". Last knight we saw at least 6 or 7 people who were so drunk they couldn't stand up or walk, being helped out of the venue...Sad. Me, you ask? Usually I have 1 alcoholic beverage and drink water the rest of the night. Last night I had 3 Yeungling lagers!
Sorry all...But no pics of me, Gina, FM, The Tuxedoed Vampire, Chiyo...etc.
I did snap a few of the Cruxshadows, I will post them when I get a chance to dump the camera and resize them on the other computer. There set was amazing and as a bonus Steve Archer and Donna Lynch from Ego Likeness (who were at the Ball offering their art work for sale) joined the Cruxshadows for the final 2 songs!
We had a good night and got home safe...Sadly others in the area did not. As soon as we got on the Vine St. Expressway on the way home the Eastbound side was closed for a massive wreck. Why do people feel the need to get drunk and then drive? Same idiots who felt an "Open Bar" means to guzzle as much alcohol as possible I guess.
I keep the folks who got hurt on their way home last night in my prayers.
I hope your New Year's Eve celebrations were as fun and safe as ours.

Gonna be all boastful here but, I do believe we were the best dressed couple there. lol
I was happy to see you don your kilt again and felt extraordinarily short standing next to Gina in those KILLER boots. David looked fantastic and I'm so glad you guys continue to make it a family event.
We had a fantastic time and I can't wait for the next one!
Too many redbulls!! Too much candy!! I think I raided 7 candy bowls last night.
I had a blast!
Maybe in March I remember a camera!
The candy WAS good! Patrick got good candy this time. Usually it's filled with lolipops and hard candy with only a few chocolates. There were all kinds of chololates...Peanutbutter cups, Mr. Goodbar, Kit kats mmmm! Although I did almost choke on a peanut from a Mr. Goodbar!
