People passing on the street
at the Towers I take my seat.
Waiting for a friend
that will never come.
To what the future holds
I am dumb.
Then behind me an explosion I hear.
I jump from my seat
for I fear it was to near.
Not to long after, I hear another.
"What's happening?" my mind wonders.
As I turn to see one tower fall
my heart breaks for the people all.
Then, not to long after,
though to me it seemed like hours,
the other Tower fell
as to many lives were devoured.
I fell to my knees and cried out "Dear Lord why?"
As I started to pray for the people in the building and the passersby.
I wept for saddness and for fear
for alot of people lost their lives today.
People passing by, on the street
as at the Towers I take my seat.
Waiting for a friend that will never come
for the dear Father took him home.
Wrote in 2001. In loving memory to those who lost their lives and their family and friends.
People screaming
fear fills the air.
A cloud of smoke
throws a city into a scare.
People trapped,
praying for help to come.
And others wait still
their bodies cold and numb.
We don't know their names or faces
but we know the whole nation morns.
The pride of our country
has greatly been scorn.
So what will happen now
as our country threatens war?
We lie and we wait
until it's time to settle the score.
Wrote in 2001 for those that lost their lives and were severly injured during the attack on the Towers on 9-11.
O, my fairest one, how to talk to thee?
Through a glance, a whisper or a touch so tenderly.
How to express the burning desire that I feel inside?
The feelings of intamacy are so difficult to discribe.
My love for you runs as deep
as the deepest river flows,
and each day it gets stronger
as the most beatious flower grows.
Our love, my fairest one, will endure the hardest roads.
So that it may be stronger with time as it grows.
It's a pure and undying love that makes even the most heavy harted want to shout
'I see this love as one that cannot be snuffed out.'
As sure as the moon travels around the earth
and the stars will shine at night.
My love for you will be sure to burn
with affection and intamacy, always as bright.
