Same here. I've always maintained that the coven system is fucking stupid, and having to go back to seeing why is pretty annoying. I see little to no reason to remain here.

I'm rather surprised to hear this from you. Forced induction has been a part of VR for the vast majority of it's history and is a fundamental system.



I'd expect to hear you say that you understand the RULES and will abide by them but perhaps aren't happy with the specific Coven you've been inducted into.



I'm not saying it's "right" or "wrong" but it is what it is and yelling about it only shows disrespect (I'm sure that's not your intent but that's how it comes across).

I'm curious why you would expect us to have respect for a retarded system? Irony is here only because Joli asked her to be, and I am here only because the two of them pestered me until I joined. I have nothing but disdain for VR's coven and level systems, and I can guarantee that Irony feels the same way. She is simply nicer about expressing it.

The system is what it is and since VR isn't some MySpace you have go along with how things are. Your voice, heck my voice really doesn't matter here. The point is if you decide to stay you agree to follow the rules and deal with them otherwise you leave.

You probably shouldn't be surprised Xzavier. I came here soley for Joli and I poked my head above level 4 only because Stabb was ready to catch me for Darkest Blood.



I would probably have been a little less... irate, had he just passed me on to someone else or dissolved the coven himself, but he did not. He had it done for him.



I often come across as a nice and fairly level headed person, but truly, I can be as pissed off and stompy as anyone else. I dislike change immensely and I have never been a fan of the induction.



As I said, I would not have allowed myself to reach an inductable level had I not had Stabb there to catch me. You will just have to try and forgive me for my tantrum I guess. I am only human after all.

I joined and tolerate the place because people I care about found it amusing to have me here. I did not join because I like the idea, concept, or community of VR. In absolutely no way do I think that the place is anything less than a festering pit of idiocy (which it is), and the status/covens systems (in their current incarnation) are amongst the most imbecilic things I have ever seen implemented on a social networking site. You can claim that VR isn't MySpace, but when it boils down to it, it's essentially the same thing, except with more ads and an even higher emo-to-human ratio than MySpace.



And anyone attempting to guilt trip Irony is talking to me as well. She's one of the precious few people here who is worth a damn, and I will not have anyone trying guilt her into stifling how she feels, just to preserve people's feeling that everyone here actually likes the site. The only joy I've ever gotten from it is giving Irony and Joli cause for laughter, and trust me, Cancer had dick-all to do with that.

And I think Ockham has been clear about all of that from Day 1.



Also, vocalizing in your journal about your opinion isn't against any rules. You don't like the coven system...I don't think Cancer would care if you expressed that in a journal reserved for your opinions.
