The Devil…

The Devil/Satan and Lucifer are two separate entities!! The Bible was misread. Lucifer was the first Fallen Angel, because he was the first to stand up against God and challenge his beliefs. The Devil, as said above countless times, can either be physical or can represent a more psychological aspect for humans, such as a form of temptation and an obstacle to overcome to reach a divine state. He represents what sin is, or what is evil. Lucifer however is not dark, nor evil, he was merely a rebel in a sorts and because God could not allow there to be controversy in Paradise, he banished him to Hell. Lucifer is a pretty nice guy in my opinion, he takes in those who are rejected by God. God is a hypocrite, he says all are his children and all will be forgiven of their sins (why else would he sacrifice his only son?). Then why is it that there is a Hell at all? If you are forgiven, then you earn a first class ticket to the clouds above. Hell was intended to weed out those who would appose God, those who do not follow his religion. But if God really is the creator and he wants everyone to like him and follow only him, then why did he give humans choices? If God really wanted to, he could just wipe out all other religions. But he doesn't, he wants to see who will choose him. It is like being in grade school, you can either choose to join the bully or be the victim, but you can never be the bully, cuz there is always someone more powerful above you.

Past Lives…

hmm, where to start?

Let's see... reincarnation. I believe in it. It is hard not to. If you look into certain people from the past, you can see how much they relate to certain other people who come later and though they have no recollection of the other person or even know of them, they are like the same person and follow in the same path that they did.

Also, for those spiritualists and believers in higher powers (I'm a believer myself, but I believe in them all), I believe that there is only a set number of souls. And when someone dies, that soul is past on. It's like how a sociologist would group people, some people are just the same as others. There are so many people on this planet that everyone can be placed in a group with others similar to them. I believe that because there are so many people, souls have literally been cut up so that there is enough to go around, thus the groups of people. I believe that yes, you will move on to another life, but not your soul. Human bodies play no part in this, they are merely vessels for souls. Souls live forever, they mark who you are. And who knows if they will ever move on to a better life or just go on living the same old cycle, being recycled as another human or otherwise every few decades. Perhaps some souls even reach their peak and go to Heaven or Hell :)

Deja vu. I can say this happens to me all the time. The dreams that I cannot remember in the morning are where they come from. Something happens that day that triggers them and I get confused, because in my head, this has already happened and I already have memories of it.

I believe that people do inherit certain traits in DNA. Like the saying goes, like mother like daughter, or like father like son, its hard not to be like your parents. But in a larger whole, you seem to be just like those in previous generations. You may stray from that and start something new for coming lines, though, and that creates diversity. Ever wonder why you have a completely normal family and one oddball?

Past lives... that's an easy one. Since I can remember, I've always had dreams of past lives. I've never been anyone famous. I've always been nobody, but I've played parts. I know who I am and what I'm meant for. I don't agree with the Bible and I don't follow any religion, but I believe in the higher powers and fate and how everything is connected and meant to happen. I except everything is how it is meant to be, no matter how unsettling it may be. I take the good with the bad. About religion though, I believe in Heaven and Hell, and God and Satan. Lucifer is my favorite Fallen Angel (he and Satan are two different entities, it was a misunderstanding in Matthew that led to that mix up). I have a different theory about how that played out. I'm writing a novel about it, actually. Just my dreams on paper though.

This is getting long, sorry, if you want to know more about what I think, just ask and I'll shed more light.

I figured I'd clear something up real fast...

I live past lives through my dreams. And in them, I am conscious of who I am (though I don't know that person) and I know what I'm doing. I'm awake in dreams and I think about what I am doing or saying, but I already know what to say before the person asks it, because it's already happened and I'm just playing the part. I wonder sometimes if I really sleep or if I just visit the past...

Ah, something I forgot when I was ranting... I do believe that souls can be split in two. How can it be explained when 2 people share so much in common? For instance, have you ever thought of soul mates? People who are simply meant to be together? They feel like they are looking at themselves or something. For instance, my boyfriend and I, no word of a lie, have so much in common that even though he's lived over seas and we have only just met a few months earlier, have had so many similar experiences. For instance, growing up, we both ended up breaking our ankles the same month and we both ended up doing the same thing while waiting around in bed - we read the Harry Potter series, and get this, we'd both borrowed from our sister who only had the books around for show. We think along the same lines though, at first it was really creepy, we'd be talking to each other and even though we'd just met, we were finishing each others sentences. And then, if one of us would be hesitant to say something, for some reason the other was thinking the exact same thing and would voice it. Weird? I think so, I'm only now getting used to it. It's pretty nice. I think at one point in history we were the same person :)

hmm, well I'm just curious about the "meeting up with people we are sure we know but have never actually met before that moment" question... This happens to me sometimes. But it's not on-contact that I wonder how I know them. I dream of people I am going to meet, whether it be a relative I've never known, a store clerk, a student, whatever, if they are going to play some part of my life, I meet them in my dreams first. But I don't remember them on waking, it's days later, months sometimes, even years past that I actually come across them, and then it just clicks into place, I know who they are and can actually walk right up to them, extend my hand to shake and be like, "How are you Dave?" Or whatever their name might be. It's freaked a few people out, some person coming out of the blue and all, knowing exactly who they are, but then it falls into place and everything works out like it did in my dream-memories.

But for those who experience past life memories, maybe you knew them last time and your souls were drawn together again :)

The Damned Soul…

You are damned if that's what you'd like to think. Personally, I say, you make life what you can, you are the deciding factor. If you think you're damned, then you are, it's psychological. If you don't believe you are, then you aren't. It's like with religion. Are you going to Heaven or Hell? That depends on if you sin. If you sin a lot (and like doing so), then you've just earned yourself a clear ticket to eternal flames :) But in you live a good life and are firm about your morals and do what's "right", well then, God can't deny you access to Paradise. Life’s what you make of it, do with it as you please, but don't think so much into what you do, just do what comes natural and you're all good. Even if you're doing bad and dream of Heaven, there's always repentance. Jesus died for our sins, right? So why wouldn't our 'sins' be erased like an etchscetch? Just shake it a bit and you're cleared. Murderers who confess their sins in church are forgiven after all.

And who ever said Vampires don't have souls? How can someone survive without one? They are what make you you. Someone who is soulless would be an empty husk and I don't know any Vampires who are like that. Besides, who says there's anybody out there looking out for us (or rather, down at us)? Not saying I believe either way, just you should believe what you want to believe, not what people tell you. It's better for your self being.

haha, that's funny, I never imagined someone would come out and say "Jesus is a vampire", but you have at point there. Jesus’s vampirism would be his religion :) That would make Jesus a Master Sire King Vampire, or whatever. He has so many children across the world, and he does indeed say to drink of his blood (pretty creepy). That would make all his little Christian followers his spawn. But he represents purity of the soul, no sins would go unforgiven, so how would that make someone damned? Something to think about...

Vampires cannot help what they are. Whether you're talking about the fictional ones of literature, the ones we have media-atized, or the ones who just follow that life-style (to them it's just natural). You cannot label someone damned. They may do evil deeds or whatnot, but they are not evil incarnate. People say they are not very human in their ways. What makes them different? They drink blood to survive. They are like animals and humans alike, you need some sort of nourishment to continue living, you cannot just 'exist', unless you're inanimate (only exception). Humans eat plants and animals, is that damnable?

Or is this all simply in the mind?

Lycanthropy: What is it?

Well I suppose it all depends on which side you support more.

You have the spiritual aspects. Native Americans have animal guides and when they are in meditative states, they can access and harness that animals powers and characteristics. (I suppose here can be mental, too.) They would use these to gain insight on nature, for instance, to help them hunt better with the help of enhanced senses due to their animal ties.

For more mental... I guess some people can be delusional and just "think" they are werewolves or any other animal. I do not discredit them though, believe what you want. It may just be in your head, though. You cannot prove that you are a werewolf simply because you exhibit signs and characteristic associated with the wolf. Many people have animal-like features or behaviors, does that make them were-animals, too?

Perhaps it's psychological because you were an animal in a past life and you have just inherited the traits :)

I can't explain how a person can transform. I know that many people in extreme cases can summon incredible amounts of strength and have incredibly keen senses, but can a person transform entirely? How is it that when transforming, you can shift all human properties to that of a wolf? I mean, we have completely different structures.

heh, someone mentioned the Stephenie Meyer books above (Twilight and New Moon). In these, it is believed that your ability to transform is hereditary. But it also says that they are descended from wolves. So really, the humans are only resorting back to their primitive state. Personally I would prefer to be descended from wolves versus the excepted belief that we are descended from monkeys.

Which brings me to my next point, how can you out rule physical transformation when humans used to be monkeys?! I understand that it is evolution and it took many many moons to make us the way we are, but perhaps for a specific few, it was different? Perhaps some humans are descendants of wolves and can resort back to their natural state simply by choice. Perhaps in the beginning the transformation did not go so smoothly, as many believe that is how it would go - not very pretty. But evolution! Survival of the fittest. Maybe they needed faster transitions and eventually they were able to do such.

And the moon. I do believe, regardless of how it relates to werewolves or otherwise, it does have some effect on us. The moon controls the tides. Humans are 70% water. The moon therefore has sway over us, too. We are creatures of nature. We are not simply creatures of our own sorts. We are all connected somehow. We all came from the same pool. Humans are not alone in this world.
