My emotions are like
The mud puddle
That I stare at
Through my window.
They run deep.
And just like the mud puddle.
Have gorges that have been cut.
Like the water
In the puddle
Those are the places
That are continuously filled.
The pain, fear, jealousy,
Happiness and frustration
Are it's constant water supply.
And just like
The mud puddle who's
Edges are soft and moist
So are my emotions.
The rain drops that
Splish and splash
Are like the tears that I cry.
For as they hit the puddle
A ripple is sent out.
And as my tears flow
A ripple is sent throughout
My body.
So as I sit stare.
The mud puddle and I
Become one.
For two things that you see
As opposite
To us are just alike.

Whispers of truth and whispers of lies.
Whispers that linger and live on in our minds.
Whispers that turn the fear into hate.
Whispers in the morning sun.
Whispers in the eve' when the day is done.
Whispers that float upon the wind and rain.
Whispers true and for the vain.
Whispers here and whispers there.
Whispers, whispers everywhere.
Whispers in the room that's dark.
Whispers that contribute a spark.
Whispers that don't even want to be heard.
Whispers in the air
Between the birds and bees.
Whispers here and now
Between you and me.
Whispers here and whispers there.
Whispers, whispers everywhere.

I weep for what I have
Yet I have it not.
I weep for what I love
But it does not loveme back.
I weep for what I've lost
Yet it is here with me.
I weep for what I knew
Yet it was not so.
I weep for what I want
But it does not come.

haunting, but quite lovely.
This is really good- I really like this one.. how true.
The butterflies
Do flitt and flutter
On flowers and trees
To sip their nectar.
Then fly away their wings a-flutter
And spread their song
Both near and far.
As the birds
Upon their perch
Do chirp their
Lovely song
Of love and birth.
Upon the the wings
I dance and sing.
My song alone
Will loudly ring.
My song
Of love and hope.
And freedom
That keeps us all afloat.
